A/n: have some well deserved fluff before things get intense :)

It's the day of the party, and with all the strange occurrences you can't help but be on edge. So to take the edge off you've decided to start your morning with a drink. Not the alcoholic kind, but a large ice cream shake. You sip away at it as you check the daily script one more time for any errors. There are none, you've been over it a hundred times. You contact all your day-of vendors to confirm they're ready to go, then you check the time. With an hour and a half till open you sit back, relax, and refill your milkshake.

"Rough day?" A voice behind you asks and you turn to see Monty. Your eyes shift from his face to his long, sharp claws.

"Yeah, new claws? They look nice," you respond and pull out a chair for him.

Monty takes a seat next to you, "thanks, aren't they cool! Now there's nothing I can't play!" He cheers.

"Congrats man!" You high five him, noting how his claws rise above your fingertips. "Just be careful,"

"When am I not?" He throws his arms out, knocking your milkshake off the table. A janitor bot rushes over and cleans it up in less than a minute. Monty stands up with a laugh, "that proves nothing!"

"Sure thing buddy," you laugh, partially because of the hilarity of the situation but mainly because it's so nice to see Monty back to his usual happy self. Then you wave goodbye as he heads off to warm up for the show.

Alone again, you review the bands set list. They've picked a good mix of songs, leaning more towards songs popular with younger kids. You twirl your pen between your fingers as you think, till one wrong move sends it soaring. You look to see where it lands but see Roxy holding it, "I think you dropped something,"

"Awesome catch!" You grin as she hands the pen back to you. Then she has a seat in the chair Monty left pulled out. "Is there something you wanted to talk about?"

Roxy shrugs and grabs one of your french fries. She tries it but tosses the uneaten half away, "I'll never get Chica's obsession with this stuff,"

"Maybe it's an acquired taste?" You suggest with a shrug, "so, are you excited for your big party?"

"Is that even a question? Of course I'm excited!" Roxy says louder than necessary.

"That's good, I'll be sure to watch the performance so I can cheer you on!" You tell her and she gives a toothy grin for a moment before it falls, "something bothering you?"

"No. Why would anything be bothering me? I'm going to do great, I'm the best!" Roxy says more to herself than you. She drums her fingers on the table, "they're all going to love me,"

You slowly reach out to touch her shoulder, drawing her attention away from her rambling, "you're very talented, you'll do a great job. And regardless of what happens, Chica, Monty, Freddy, and I will be here to support you," you tell her.

Roxy looks away for a moment, then mutters a quiet thank you and dashes away. Chica barely misses getting run over by her as she leaves. "What's got Roxy all worked up?" She asks and snatches one of your fries, enjoying it far more than Roxy did.

"I just told her we all supported her, I thought I was being nice," you explain and Chica laughs.

"Oh then she was happy! Sometimes it's hard to tell with her," she tells you and you relax a bit. Chica continues to munch on your fries but you don't really mind sharing.

"I already asked Monty and Roxy, but are you feeling ready for the show?" You ask, one to be polite, and two to gauge how she's doing stress and function wise.
