You knew you'd have to go into town eventually. You just didn't realize how difficult it was going to be. Costumes were the first step, and some were easier than others. Chica was able to find a long sundress and a giant hat that did a good job of hiding her identity. Freddy was a big fan of tropical button up shirts and Monty found a baggy shirt with flames on it. Vanessa let Roxy borrow a leather jacket and you're not sure she'll ever get it back. Sundrop posed a unique challenge, and you ended up going for a giant hoodie. All in all, they don't look half bad if you're being generous. You'll want to keep them out of sight as much as possible though. As everyone piles into the van that becomes very apparent.

"Does everyone have a secret identity ready?" Gregory asks the group.

Roxy shares first, obviously very proud of her story, "I'm an ex private investigator with a dark past who-"

"I veto that!" Vanessa cuts her off.

"It's really cool Roxy but definitely weird enough to get you caught," you explain and Roxy sadly agrees.

"You could be an artist looking for inspiration! Lots of artists dress like...that," Gregory suggests as he gestures to Roxy's over the top punk look.

"That better be a compliment!" Roxy pulls Gregory into a headlock but it's all in good fun.

Everyone else takes turns giving their fake back stories as you drive into town. In all honesty, you don't listen to the stories as a nervous feeling sinks in. There are so many people here, what were you thinking? There's no way this will work! You look around for an empty area close to some power source and drum your fingers on the vans dashboard. Then an empty parking space catches Vanessa's attention and you come to a screeching halt. You look around to see hoards of people walking down the sidewalk, it does little to calm your nerves.

"Are you sure this is a good place?" You ask as Vanessa attempts to parallel park the huge van.

"Absolutely, the crowd is full of strange people, we'll fit right in!" She says confidently and puts the car in park.

"We will all be very careful, right everyone?" Freddy asks, but it's more of an order to the other animatronics. They all nod along and promise not to make a scene.

"Ok, we need a game plan. I think we split into two groups. One with me one with Vanessa," You say as you formulate a plan.

"We could go to the carnival, there's lots of power there!" Gregory suggests. It's a viable option and full of bright decor that won't make the animatronics look too out of place if someone sees past their costumes.

"Let's do that. Don't stay in once place too long, don't cause a power out, and above all else stay subtle!" You instruct and everyone gives a nod of approval. Then you all reach out and place your hands on top of one another, pushing down then throwing them into the air, "Roll out!"

Everyone climbs out of the van and splits off into smaller groups. Much to your relief, most of the tourists seem too caught up in whatever they're doing to notice you. Freddy reaches out  and takes your hand and Monty picks Gregory up onto his shoulders so you don't get separated. Gregory seems to enjoy the view from up so high, "Let's go to the bumper cars!" He points over the crowd to the game.

"I may be too big for the small cars," Freddy warns but you walk over anyway since it'll make a good power source.

"Come on, have a little fun!" Monty challenges him then grins mischievously, "Unless you're afraid I'll be better than you,"

You can see Freddy silently contemplating the challenge. Ultimately, he takes the bait, "It's on," he says and drags you along as he runs over to the game.
