Another hell week. That's what it is. Eversince Karina started working, she lost interest in everything around her, she barely go out with her friends. She always have caffeine in her system and she never had enough sleep.
It's been three weeks since the reunion but she still can't forget. She promised herself she'll stop thinking about Winter. She thinks it's time to take care of herself and let go. Just like how the other did.
That's great, isn't it? Drowning herself with work, it lessens feelings, it lessens the pain, it lessens the mourning.
"Karina, here's the outfit for your next shoot." Her assistant handed her a branded jacket and a calvin klein undergarment
She snapped back to reality, she gave her a smile. "Thanks, let me just change real quick."
"Alrighty, do you have anything to do later?" Her assistant asked
Karina nodded her head. "Yeah, my friends misses me. They're holding a party in the near club."
"I see, be careful alright. We have a shoot the next day,"
"I will."
Karina went to a vacant room and stare at herself in the mirror. She was observing her face, she looked tired, nevertheless, she looks good. Just a little tired.
She walked off and went to the set when she bumped into someone. Her eyes widened in surprise.
"Yeji? What are you doing here babe?" She asked cheerfully
Yeji grinned, "You look happy to see me."
"Of course, we haven't seen each other since last week." Karina replied and greeted her with a kiss on the cheek
They walked together towards the set and everyone was shuffling, crowding in one place while fixing their equipments.
"So, what brought you here?"
"I was wondering if we could go to the club together later." Yeji bit her tounge
"Yeah but my shoot won't end anytime soon." Karina rummaged through her pouch.
"It's okay, I can wait." Yeji sat on Karina's seat.
"You'll be bored here." Karina grunts
"Watching you will never bore the shit out of me." Yeji retorted
Karina slapped her arms lightly. "Fine. Stay here, hold my pouch for now."
Yeji obeyed like a little kid, she nodded her head vigorously as she watch Karina trudge towards the set
Seconds, turns to minutes, turns to hours. Yeji fell asleep with her head hung low, gripping tightly on Karina's pouch she didn't notice the girl approaching her.
Karina sat across her, she watched Yeji's sleeping face. She chuckled. "You should've come to my life sooner, Yeji." She whispered
Yeji slightly moved and Karina flinched away. She now decided to wake her up.
"Babe? Let's go. Shoot's done." She shook her shoulder lightly
Yeji is a lightsleeper so she woke up instantly. Her eyes fluttered open and she quickly beam a smile at Karina
"Sorry, I should've watched you earlier." She stood up and stretched her numb body
Karina giggled, "It's okay. I know you're tired, do you want to go to my place instead?"
"We have plans, the others are missing your busy ass." Yeji scoffed jokingly
"Okay jeez, who are we with?" Karina intertwined their hands as they both leave the place
