Sonic boom x my OC

Chapter 1: The Sidekick

I walked through the unknown village, clutching my case tightly. I can hear animals whispering and stealing glances at me but I try to ignore it. How can these animals even walk on 2 legs?! A rumor from these two twins reach my ears.

"I bet she's Eggmans daughter." one of them snickered.

'Who on earth is eggman?' I thought. Just then my stomach rumbled. I was getting a bit hungry. I looked for a fast food place and finally found one called Meh Burger? Nonetheless I sat down and the same two twins came up to me.

"What are you doing here?" one asked looking me up and down.

"What does it look like?" I retorted.

Her sister scowled at me before saying.

"This Island is no place for humans. One human is bad enough. I expect he's your dad?" she smirked.

"I have no father here so you can just go away now... shoo!" I shooed them away with my hands. They just rolled their eyes and shoved me off my chair. I braced for the impact but it never came.

"Wha-Sonic!" The twins eyes widened. I looked up to see a blue hedgehog holding me and not looking too happy as he stared at the two females. I blushed.

"Care to explain what's going on here?" he asked.

"W-we were speaking to this girl. W-we bet she's Eggmans daughter." she glared at me once again and I returned it.

"You can't just accuse some random girl just because she's human." Sonic says. "Leave her alone."

The two females walked off and he stared after them. Realising he was still holding me, I cleared my throat awkwardly. He looked down at me before realising what I was getting at, putting me down and rubbing his neck sheepishly.

"U-um are you okay miss?" he asked. I nodded my head with a smile.

"I'm fine. Thanks for saving me back there."

"No sweat! It's what I do after all." He says.

I give him another smile before heading off in a random direction even though I have no clue where I'm going. It's gonna take a while to learn my way around. The blue hedgehog seems to walk after me, eventually catching up. I raise a brow at him, wondering why he was following me.

"So um, what's your name?" he asks.

"Malaika. How about you?"

"Sonic." he smirks.

"Well then, Sonic, nice to meet you! Hope I'll see you around sometime."

"Same here." he smiles.

(Time Skip)

I'm still wondering around. Its been awhile but I still can't find a place to stay. I eventually come across a beach. I look out into the ocean, admiring all the unique fish and sea creatures below. I then spot a shack in the distance and head over, wandering if anyone there could help me.

I knock on the wall (since there's no door) and peek in.

"Um, excuse me I was wondering if you cou-" I started.

"Congratulations ! Your the third candidate!" the blue hedgehog smiles at me. Him again? This is his place?

"Say what now?" I ask confused.

(Time skip)

Dr Eggman, Tails, Me and Fastidious Beaver are standing on hover boards. They're lucky I like this type of stuff and actually know how to ride a hover board.
