After 12 years from the last chapter...

year 1929

Today is the memorial day of world war 1. Ten years ago the war ended at England. There in the elementary gym is million head public at the Clastonbury elementary school. The young daughter of valued British military officer Matei Covaci has stepped to platform. She has written a memorial speech for honor to her parents who passed away two years before the end of war. The thin girl is shaking of fear. Everyone knows that speaking front of big public does ask so much bravery but she has done the promise and she keeps the speech... All start to clap when thin girl with long bright red hair and hazelnut eyes rises to podium of speaker with an bright smile on her faces. The deep silence lands in the hall before she start to speak. But before it she does turn her gaze at the sky one more time.

' Hi my name is Emily Grace Wilson, but you may also recognize me as Emily Covaci The daughter of military officer Covaci and field nurse Bites. I am twelve year old and do live at here Clastonbury. But I haven't always lived at here... When I was born my parents Jana and Matei did live at Classgow, but they did die at the bombings twelve years ago when I was only couple weeks old. So I am not able to remember anything from that time...but I do know the voice of bombing alarm.

Jana's stepsister Josephine Wilson did give the January's journal for me. The last years of her life she did wrote that book and now I will complete it. My father did fight at the war from 1914 to 1916. He did lost the another leg under the knee. I war time Jana was at home alone, because she lost her parents and my grandparents. My mom worked at field hospital, she did the important work when she treated the wounded soldiers at there. At once also my daddy was at the same hospital. Mom met he again at there when she already though he was gone.

I have been home schooled for my short life, so I don't know anything from normal school... I do live together with my stepmom Josephine Wilson. She used to have another daughter Willow Annie as well but she died one year ago because of lung infection. Mom always say that my real parents would be so proud of me, because I am able to do so much even if I am so young.

At once I asked from mom why do I have bright red hair when her hair are oat white. Back then I did not understand why she started to cry, but now I do. couple weeks ago she told the lovestory of my parents and now I do understand everything better way. I am a daughter of soldier and proud of it!

She told that dad used to have those hazelnut colored hair and eyes and mom used to have red hair and same color eyes than me and dad. Although I only know my parents name and which way they did look like, I do adore they so much... that they did never give up.

The brave field nurse January Grace Bites and the Military officer Matei Peter Covaci died when they were serving this country. I do have honor to call they my parents. So whenever you are now I want to say big thank you for all of you, without you we would not be able to celebrate the freedom today. All of your are so honored and important. You did not dead without a reason!!! '

When Emily finished her speech the hall was full of crying people. She steps out of the platform and try not to cry as herself. She does not to look like a weak. Is it clear for everyone that whose daughter Emily Grace Wilson really is. After that People hugs Emily one after one, and they go to the to the Heroes' graves...

This is the first time when Emily can see the grave of her parents. She is carrying two massive bouquet of  flowers in her little hands. She lands them to the grave of the two person.

There are sleeping two very honored persons, who sacrificed their whole life for this country so everyone else could be safe!
