"...that's how we can counter the primary statement. The very important thing, the most basic thing in the court, are opening and closing statements. If you nail them, then you will be able to win the case easily. Understood?"

The girl nodded, "Yes, sunbae."

"Perfect." He smiled. "We will meet on Thursday again. Make sure to read the lesson." The girl nodded and started packing her back. "Don't forget the fees."

The girl smiled and bowed, "I won't."

"Oh, Namjoon? Are you done?"

Namjoon turned back, "Yes, I am just getting back to work."

Heechul nodded, "I am going out for a while. Take care of the cafe, yeah?"

Namjoon nodded, "Okay." He went to the pantry and wore his uniform from the locker. As he stood behind the counter, he huffed and looked outside of the glass. The day was too slow for his liking. There were barely any customers coming in as it was a working afternoon. He sighed as his eyes fell on the large poster hung outside a mall. Apparently, the owner of that mall was going to inaugurate the building with some important guests. Namjoon chuckled and thought that it must be nice to have such a lavish life. He scanned the face of the owner carefully and then read the name under it.

Kim Seokjin.

Ah, Kim Seokjin. The genius that everyone is jealous of. Only if they had even 5 per cent of his ability and looks. He really looked pretty in person as well. Namjoon has seen him many times. He looked pretty. Maybe pretty was an understatement. If he was a female, he would make Aphrodite run for her title of the most beautiful woman. Maybe Aphrodite reincarnated as Kim Seokjin. Namjoon stretched his hand out and tried to cover Seokjin's body, leaving out his face. He sighed and took his hand back. He knew his Aphrodite was out of reach. And maybe that was for the best.

Namjoon narrowed his eyes as he smelt a weird smell around him. He looked in the cafe and sighed. Too much for a slow day. Why do people don't understand basic decency? He went to the table, "Sir, this is a no-smoking area." He pointed at the board that was hung on the wall. "If you need to smoke, can you please step outside of the cafe?"

The man rolled his eyes, "No!"

Namjoon face palmed himself in his mind. So he was the type of customer who thought they were gods. Namjoon clenched his jaws as he tried to control his anger, "Sir, other customers are having trouble because of the smoke and smell. There are kids here as well. Please step outside to smoke."

"I will not leave the cafe." The man raised his voice a little, "Who are you to tell me what to do?"

Namjoon was really losing it. He knew today was the day when he would lose his job.

"What is going on here?"

Namjoon sighed in relief as he heard Heechul's voice behind him. He turned back, "Hyung, this man is smoking in the cafe. I told him to step out, but he won't listen to me."

Heechul looked at the man and then towards the burning cigarette in his hand, "Sir, please leave the cafe if you want to smoke. This is a no-smoking zone."

"How dare you?" the man threw the cigarette on the floor and stood up, "Call your manager. I will complain about both of you."

Namjoon smirked. Ah, he is gonna be roasted crisp and burnt. Heechul scoffed and rolled his eyes, "Forget about the manager. I am the owner of this cafe. So if you want to burn your lungs with that death stick, leave us out of it. Now get out of the cafe before I call the cops."

The man left the cafe grumbling about leaving a bad review on the internet. As if his one bad review was going to damage the cafe. As the door closed, there was a ding in Namjoon's phone. He checked his phone and gasped with wide eyes. "My results came in."

Heechul gasped as well, "What did you get?"

Namjoon slowly scrolled to the end of the PdF and then smiled brightly, "Guess what my final score is?"

Heechul narrowed his eyes, "3.5?"

Namjoon shook his head.

"3.7?"

Namjoon shook his head again. Heechul clicked his tongue, "Come on, tell me the score."

Namjoon raised his shoulders in excitement, "4.2!"

"WHAT?" Heechul yelled in excitement, "Yah, Namjoon-ah! You are a real genius, huh?" He looked at the people sitting in the cafe, "Everyone. This dongsaeng here has scored 4.2 in a law school. So everyone gets a pastry. It is on the house!"

"Aish, hyung..." Namjoon whined, "You didn't have to announce it." He got another ding on his phone and this time there was a mail from the principal. "Huh. Why does the principal want to meet me?"

Heechul patted his back, "Of course to congratulate you!" He turned to the customer to serve the pastry and then turned to Namjoon again, "Oh, you can take as many pastries or anything you want from the cafe home for your three musketeers."

Namjoon smiled and nodded, "Thank you, hyung."

~

The rain was terrible. It was pouring dogs and cats. It was almost like a storm out there. But Namjoon didn't want to go home. He had skipped his work the entire day as well. He sat on the bench, getting soaked, cursing himself for being greedy. Maybe he was getting ahead of himself. He just wanted to lay down on the street and cry and scream at his destiny. Hadn't he suffered enough to be put through more difficulties? Why does it always happen to him? As he was cursing his luck some more, his phone rang.

Taetae calling...

Right. They must have been worried about him. He stood up and started walking towards his apartment. As he walked slowly through the rain, each drop seemed to be taunting him, laughing at him for being so pathetic. Each drop hit his body like stones.

When he reached the apartment, everyone was worried about him. "Hyung..." Jungkook was the first one to go to him, "What happened?"

"Yeah." Jimin went to him with a towel in hand, "You just disappeared from the campus."

"We were so worried, hyung." Taehyung whined, "What happened?"

Namjoon looked at them. A tear finally sneaked out of his eyes, "I lost my scholarship."

Three of them gasped together. Jimin covered his mouth with his hand, "How?"

Namjoon chuckled, "Miso! Fucking Miso sneaked about me that I give private tuitions to the juniors. The principal said that because my score is so high, he won't suspend me. But he took away my scholarship."

"How can she do that?" Jungkook grumbled in anger, "Fucking entitled piece of shit."

Taehyung nodded, "Just because she has money, she thinks she owns everyone in the world."

Jimin looked at Namjoon with concern, "What will you do now?"

Namjoon shook his head, "I don't know. I think I will have to drop out. There is no other option."

"Hey!" Taehyung patented his back, "Don't think like that. We are here to help you, okay? If you need anything we will help you in a heartbeat. So just calm down and take a bath. Jiminie made dinner for us. So let's eat and then think about what has to be done."
