"Namjoon."

Everyone looked at Seokjin in shock. Everyone except Mr Kim. Mr Kim hummed, "You have worked for the company for more than fifteen years."

Seokjin nodded, "I know. But abeoji, the company was never mine, to begin with. It always belonged to Mew. So..." He shrugged, "It is the right time for me to leave the place to him."

Mr Kim raised an eyebrow, "What about your mother?"

Seokjin smiled, "I have enough investment to keep her treatment going on."

"You will leave 17 years of hard work for this boy?" Mr Kim tilted his head.

Seokjin smiled, "Most definitely. I pulled down an entire family for him. You still doubt my decision?"

Mr Kim raised his hand and the secretary gave him another envelope, "Well, the boy for whom you are leaving the place is worse than you." He took out other photos and spread them on the table. This time the photos had Mew and Gulf. One of them was a little explicit. "He doesn't know that people are always watching him."

A deep sigh left Mew as he closed his eyes. He opened his eyes and tilted his head as he glared at Mr Kim, "Yah, old man! Are you kidding me? You were following us this whole time?"

Seokjin shook his head and hid his face in his hands, "Mew..."

"Your men were the one following us..." Gulf said absentmindedly, "Ah, I am so relieved."

All the three others looked at Gulf, "You knew we were being followed?" Mew asked with shock.

Gulf laughed nervously, "Yes...? I mean, I thought they were my dad's men, so I didn't say anything. I knew you would be angry. But they were your dad's men, so..." He cleared his throat, "It is fine, I guess."

"It is not alright!" Mew retorted. He turned to Mr Kim and took a photo that was explicit, "We were on a weekend trip to Jeju! How could you invade our privacy? This is literally the balcony of the hotel!"

Mr Kim shrugged, "When your sons don't tell their parents about their relationship status, I have to keep tabs."

Mew clicked his tongue, "What are you? Crazy stalker?"

"Mew!" Seokjin warned him again.

"Stay out of this one, phi!" Mew frowned, "I get that you need to know everything about our lives, but can't you be a little patient? Like, p'Jin is literally the image of an ideal son. You should have at least had faith in him! Now quit all this drama and give us your blessings already."

Mr Kim narrowed his eyes, "How are you so sure that I will accept you?"

Mew scoffed, "Old man, we both know if you wanted p'Jin to leave Namjoon, you would have given harder options. P'Jin already finds reasons to leave the company. Why would you knowingly give him a reason to leave?"

The room was covered in a thick cloud of uncomfortable silence. "Ah!" Mr Kim finally broke the silence, "You really are my son, huh? But you guys should be more careful. No one noticed people following you except this young boy." He said pointing at Gulf.

Seokjin sighed. Aish, this old man! He laughed at himself for not knowing what was going on inside Mr Kim's mind. "I am sort of used to being followed by your men." He shrugged.

Mew chuckled, "And honestly, I can tell the difference if it's your men or someone else's. So I didn't bother. But you really crossed the line by following us to Jeju. And I am gonna misplace the photographer who took this photo." He showed the photo before keeping it inside his suit pocket.
