Tris's POV:
"I'm home!" Tobias calls through the house.
"I'm in the kitchen," I yell back.
I hear footsteps and soon enough Tobias' arms are wrapped around my waist.
"Miss me?" He asks.
"So much."
He kisses me.
"Where are is everyone?" he asks.
"Outside."
"Then lets go."
"You have to change."
"You can help me."
"Tempting but I'll pass up the offer."
He laughs and walks up the stairs.
It's been two years since we left everything behind in Chicago.
Tobias walks back down the stairs in a pair of jeans and a t-shirt.
"Now can we go outside?" he asks.
"Yes," I say.
He grabs my hand and we both walk out onto the patio.
"Daddy!" The twins screams toddling over to Tobias.
Tobias picks them.
Crystal looks up from her phone. "Hey dad."
"Hi Dad," Parker says.
"Not mad anymore?" Tobias asks setting the twins down.
"I eventually got over that fact that I was too young to go to a twenty-0ne and over club."
"Don't know why on Earth you think you could go anyways," I mutter.
"She's over it, Bea. Lets not feed her fury."
I roll my eyes.
I always thought I would be the soft parent but Tobias... even though he hates hearing it, is the softest parent I know.
Christina and Shauna sit at a table ordering clothes.
Will is talking to Crystal about why the sky is blue but she's obviously not paying attention.
Zeke and Uriah are fighting, as always.
Peter and Lynn are sitting in a corner expressing their love by yelling at each other.
"We are so weird," Tobias says.
"I wouldn't have it any other way."
Tobias presses his lips to mine.
