Tris's POV:

"Breakfast is ready!" I yell.

Crystal, Parker, and Tobias come running down the stairs.

They all grab toast of their plates.

"Sorry Mom! Brenda's walking me to school!" Crystal runs out.

"Daddy! I'm going to be late for the bring your Dad to school day!"

Tobias looks at me, apologetically.

"Yea, yea. Go," I say.

Tobias gives me a quick kiss.

"Love you," he says.

"Love you, too."

I kiss Parker on the forehead.

"Be good," I say.

"Okay, bye mommy."

They run out.

"Another family breakfast, ruined," I say. "Well... more for me."

I take a bite of the omelet, I made.

"They are sooooo missing out."

I lean on my arms.

"Beatrice, you are so lonely..."

I think.

"I'm talking to myself... Great... It's high school all over again."

I roll my eyes.

Tobias's POV:

"Surprise," Parker, Crystal, and I say to Tris softly.

She sits in bed, the next morning, smiling.

"Aw. Guys this is so sweet," she says.

Crystal hands me a rose and whispers, "Give it to mom."

I laugh and hand it to Tris.

"C'mon little brother. Let's let Mom and Dad have some bounding time," Crystal says.

They walk out.

"Thank you," Tris says kissing me.

"I felt bad about the breakfasts we missed this week so I decided to bring the breakfast to you."

"Well that was sweet."

I smile and put a strawberry between my teeth and point it at Tris.

She laughs and shakes her head.

I wiggle my eyebrows at her.

She gives in and bites the strawberry.

I pull her into a kiss.

She laughs.
