Chapter 52

Tris POV:

I sit in the couch and Tobias calls me into the kitchen.
"Ooh. What's the special occasion?" I ask.
"Nothing. I just wanted to be sweet," Tobias says.
I laugh and sit down.
This plan is going to blow up in his face.
Point goes to Tris and Shauna.
"Tris?" Tobias asks.
"Oh sorry. I must've zoned again."
"We know what happened the last time you zoned."
"Curse Christina."
We begin eating and talking.
After dinner, we sit in the couch and put in a movie.
To the end of the movie, Tobias leans into me and I stop him.
"What?" He asks.
"I'm not kissing you," I say.
"What?"
"Am I speaking freaking French? I'm. Not. Kissing. You," I say mocking Zeke's voice.
"You heard us, ugh."
"Ugh is right, you idiot. When does anyone ever listen to Zeke? He had to take the I.Q test three times!"
"Damn. I thought it would work."
"You thought wrong, you dummy."
"I'm your dummy."
"Yes. But I'm still not kissing you."
"I thought that would work for sure."
"I'm not a sucker."
Tobias sighs and I laugh.

Tobias POV:

"The plan was a bust," I say.
"What?" Zeke asks.
"Am I speaking freaking French?" I say mocking Zeke's voice. "The plan was a bust. Tris found out."
"She's more perceptive than we thought."
My jaw drops.
"What?" Zeke asks.
"You know what that word means? I mean you're stupid," I say laughing. In reality I'm kidding.
"No I'm not."
"What's 9+10?"
"21."
"You're stupid."
Zeke shoves me playfully.
I watch Tris and Shauna talk.
Then my vision focuses on her lips.
Her soft, soft--
Stop Tobias! Think of something else.
I look at her chest.
I try to avert my eyes somewhere else but nothing.
"Tobias!" Zeke says snapping in my face.
"What?" I ask annoyed.
He follows my gaze and looks back at me.
"You're getting to the stage," he says.
"The what?" I ask.
"The stage. The sex stage."
"Hm? Sex stage?"
"Yes. The stage where you want sex. Or at least anxious for it."
"No. It hasn't started 'til today."
"It must be because she's depriving you of kissing. Maybe that triggered it."
"You sound so helpful but you are not."
"Well, it's not my fault you're staring at her boobs."
"Have you and Shauna..."
This is an awkward question to ask.
"Have you and Shauna.....done it yet?" I ask.
"Yep. A lot of times actually."
"God. That question didn't help."
I still stare at her chest.
"Okay. I need to get home now," I say.
"It's a two minute run."
I don't want for him to say anything else.
I bolt.
I needed to get out of there before I had a boner.
I close my dorm room door behind me and look down.
There it is.

Zeke POV:

I laugh as I watch Tobias run.
Tris and Shauna walk over to me.
"Where did Tobias go?" Tris asks.
"Uh...He had to go get some cold water. Very cold," I answer laughing.
Tris and Shauna stare at me very confused.
"You'll get it soon," I say as I continue to laugh.
