Loki's POV

"What is that..." Pietro questioned on our way to Wakanda. We were close, but all I saw was bare land and trees. Pietro pointed up in the sky and I followed his finger to see multiple ships descending from the clouds.

"Shit," I cursed and turned. I pushed a button on the inner console and a long, thin, tray popped out. It revealed multiple comms devices. Every quinjet had it. I took two out and handed one to Pietro. "Captain? Captain, can you hear me?" I asked into it. All I got back was silence.

"Channel four!" Pietro informed me. It wasn't the channel we normally used, so I changed the comm from channel two to channel four and tried again.

"Captain?" I asked.

"Loki?" Ms. Romanoff questioned.

"I'm nearing Wakanda, but all I see are trees." I explained. "Are you sure it's not on the other side of the mountain? Did you give me the right coordinates?" I asked.

"Those are the correct coordinates, Prince Loki." The heavily accented voice of King T'challa told me.

"Head at twenty-six hundred, heading zero-three-zero." Captain Rogers added. "Trust me. It looks like you're going to hit the trees, but that's just the shield. Once you're inside, you can see the real city." He explained.

"Force field, not shield." A new voice corrected. It sounded like a young girl, heavily accented like the Kings voice.

"Alright," I sighed.

"See you soon." Rogers said as I did what he told me to do and headed straight for the trees.

"Uhm-" Pietro nervously muttered and sat in the co-pilots chair to strap in.

Like Captain Rogers said, as soon as we were through the force field, the city was revealed. We were flying over a large body of water that lead to the large city.

"Whoa..." Pietro said and he sat forward in his seat to see better. His eyes were wide as he looked.

"Pietro?" Wanda's voice asked through the comms. "Loki? Are you alright?" She worried.

"Just fine, little sister." Pietro joked. He knew she hated it when he mentioned that he was a mere twelve minutes older than her. As expected, she huffed at him.

"Just get here." She scolded.

Before Pietro could respond with something he thought was witty, he was interrupted.

"Hey, Cap, we got a situation here." Sam informed him seconds prior to a large explosion being heard as the first space ship hit the barrier.

"God, I love this place." I heard Barnes's voice. I soon saw them as well. Colonel Rhodes was standing in his silver War Machine suit with Sam and Barnes standing next to them, ready for a fight that was coming sooner rather than later.

"Don't start celebrating yet, guys." Colonel Rhodes told them. "We got incoming outside the dome."

I landed the quinjet close to the others and immediately felt the ground shake. Pietro opened the hatch and ran out of the quinjet to go find Wanda while I walked off to greet Colonel Rhodes and the other two.

"Loki's on ground with us." The colonel told Captain Rogers as he nodded to greet me. Sam walked over with Barnes trailing behind him. Before he could speak, Visions voice came through the comms.

"It's too late," I heard Vision grunt. "We need to destroy the stone." He said. I now knew destroying it wouldn't kill Sammee, but it still hurt her. My stomach twisted at the thought of her being in so much pain she wished for death.

"That is not what Sammee asked us to do!" I told him harshly. "Get the Princess to take out the stone, that is what she said."

"That just means we will have to hold them off." King T'challa said.

"Loki, you find anything out?" Rogers asked. I looked at Sam as I answered.

"Destroying the stone won't hurt her," my eyes then landed on Barnes. "But it will cause her pain."

Barnes's eyebrows furrowed in confusion, but his expression stayed hard.

"Sammee would want us to destroy it under any circumstance, she wouldn't care if it hurt her." Ms. Romanoff explained. Barnes finally understood as his grip tightened on his gun.

"Wanda, as soon as that stone's out of his head, you blow it to hell." Rogers told her.

"I will," Wanda agreed. Sammee just had to hold on a little longer. As soon as we destroy the stone, we could go after Sammee. The faster this happened, the faster she was safe.

"We're coming out to you, Rhodey." The Captain told him.

"Copy that." He responded.

"How you holdin' up?" Sam asked me. I thought about it for a second before shaking my head. "You up for this?"

"Am I up for killing the very people that took Sammee from me?" I reiterated with a raised brow.

"Right, stupid question." Sam nodded and pat my shoulder. "We're glad to have you, man."

I nodded before my eyes fell back on Barnes.

"May I speak to you a moment?" I asked him. He nervously glanced at Sam, then nodded at me. Sam looked between the two of us, getting the hint, and walked a few steps away. "I would like to apologize." I explained. The words felt like lead on my tongue, but I had to say them. If I ever wanted to marry Sammee, which I did more than anything, I had to fix what I did. "The way I behaved toward you... I shouldn't have done it." I told him. Barnes looked wary, looking for me to say or do something that contradicted my words. "I didn't understand your relationship with Sammee and I acted out of jealousy. I'm not looking for forgiveness, I know that I don't deserve it, but please... please help me get her back." I finished. When all he did was stare at me, I shifted uncomfortably. The urge to snap at him to say something filling me, but I swallowed it down.

"Let's go get her." Barnes finally spoke up, holding his hand out for me. I looked down at it and slowly grasped in with my own, nodding appreciatively.

The others had made there way out of the large building by then and I let go of Barnes's hand. I turned to them, seeing the King of Wakanda leading them out.

"Prince Loki," he smiled at me. I still had a dislike for him. He did go after Sammee after all.

"King T'challa," I greeted politely.

"Do you need any weapons from our armory?" He asked me. I smirked and held my hands out. My Seidr passed over my hands and my daggers appeared.

"I believe I will be fine." I smirked. I was ready for this fight. I was plenty angry for it. I couldn't wait to sink my blades into Thanos's neck and twist. For once, there was something I was looking forward to.

Here we go, the start of our 4 part battle! Hope you're ready for this upcoming fight! Did you expect Loki to apologize to Bucky?
