"I'm saying we need a new plan, because, next time, one of us is gonna be too hurt to heal." Derek said to us as we walked into the abandoned train station after he had taken Scott and I to the clinic where Deaton helped us.

"I get it. We can't save Jackson." Scott stated.

"We can't seem to kill him either." I pointed out.

"I've seen a lot of things but I've never seen anything like this. Every new moon's just gonna make him stronger." Derek told us as he took a seat on one of the seats in the old train cart.

"But how do we stop him?" I asked.

"I don't know. I don't even know if we can." Derek admitted.

"Maybe we should let the Argents handle it." Scott replied.

"I'm on the one who turned him. It's my fault." Derek answered.

"But you didn't turn him into this." I said sitting next to him.

"This happened because of something in his past, right?" Scott wondered.

"That's a legend in a book. It's not that simple." Derek replied.

"What do you mean? What are you not telling us?" Scott questioned.

"Why do you think I'm always keeping something from you two?" Derek asked.

"Because you usually are." I pointed out.

"Well, maybe I'm doing it to protect you." He stated.

"Doesn't being part of your pack mean no more secrets?" Scott wondered.

"Go home, Scott. Sleep. Heal. Make sure your friends are safe cause the full moon's coming and with the way things are going, I've got a feeling it's gonna be a rough one." Derek pointed out.

Scott nodded before walking out.

"And what do you want me to do?" I asked.

"The same." He answered.

"You really want me to go home?" I wondered.

"No." He admitted.

I smiled as I leaned forward placing my lips to his before my phone started ringing.
