Adam never envisioned himself in a situation like this. Never did he imagine that he would have to see a harsh reality blurred on screens to be simply a few feet away from him. Never did he imagine he would feel the intense adrenaline pump wildly in his body wanting to burst out of his mouth, making it want to gulp in the air but find it difficult to do so, or the hot prickling tears to uncontrollably fall, or his body to tremble and tremble and not stop. Never did he imagine wanting someone to cover his eyes from what he mistakenly cast his eyes on, to hold him tight till he stopped trembling, for someone to make him forget this.

Forget this ever happened.

Forget this ever happened to someone he met, he treasured, he shared his happiness and life with. He now truly felt how sudden an unfortunate loss felt like. So sudden and so near. He just wanted the clock to stop. Right now. He wanted this rewind back. He wanted to forget. He wanted to forget. To forget.

Jeremy...

He felt a hand wrapped around his shoulder and he felt himself break from the horrific sight.

'Don't look at it,' he heard a low voice next to his ear, rubbing the side of his arm and Adam wanted to huddle in it more.

Never did he imagine he wanted to yearn to be taken care as a child again.

He could truly tell how his little brother Sammy always wanted him around, despite never being there for him.

'Neither should you,' Adam replied in a whisper, trying not to let himself choke as he let Joseph lead him away, who himself was trying his best not to let his legs give up.

Whatever was holding adam was truly a miracle, for Joseph couldn't even spare a glance at him without recoiling in fear. From what he caught sight on was truly dreadful. Someone who they were just talking about a moments ago now laid in a horrific mess, his throat harshly pierced almost decapitating him, aside his cheek ripped off like shredded paper, his eyes empty looking at nothing, laying on his back his chest now nothing but tattered flesh and bones, open wide, clots and veins coughing out almost never-ending blood which pooled around his fragile body colouring his clothing and the pathway to various flowing spill of red and black, and Joseph doubted his heart was inside

He didn't want to look back.

None of them wanted to.

Local policemen were thankfully now gathered about, yelling at everyone to back away from the scene as the ambulance made his way. The two narrowly made their way out of the crowd to the huddled worried group of their friends. In addition to Adam's friends who had also gathered around; Zack, Liam and Simon who were equally distressed ruffling their hair talking in hushed voices with Henry, who jerked his head towards the two coming. The three rushed to Adam and looked at Joseph for an answer

'Uhm... Jeremy...he..' and Joseph said nothing after that. Henry immediately held adam and walked him to a corner and gave him a drink which was in his hand, who numbly drank it.

'You're...you're serious?' zack asked astounded, his voice cracking. Joseph nodded and Liam's face crumbled before he quickly turned his head and walked away. Zack whispered 'How?' while staring down in dismay, jogging back towards adam. Simon gave a long stare at joseph who mutley turned as the three girls came walking towards them before he left too.

'I heard...its true,' Helen asked, her cheeks tear-streaked her nose pink and puffy, her mascara underlining her eyes. Joseph gave a nod

'Did you...also see?' Joseph had only replied with a small nod that Daniella suddenly wrapped him in a hug. Joseph tensed up, forgetting how long it had been since someone had held him like that. Four years? Seven years? How long was it?
