Trip gone wrong

Alexa's Pov

Me and Luc are both in the car on our way to a cabin cause he wanted to take me on our second trip. I turned on the radio and as he was driving we start singing. I then tell him "I love you Luc thank you for this, this trip is exactly what I need right now to get my mind off of things!"

Later we are still driving to the cabin and I fall asleep on the way there.

4 hours pass and I finally wake up and Luc says this "You're up thank god, I was about to check for a pulse"

I look him like what are you talking about and he says this "You said you were going to close your eyes for five minutes, that was four hours ago"

I put my hand over my forehead and I say "I'm sorry I scared you, I didn't know I was gonna be asleep for this long. Glad you woke me up"

Later we finally get there and Luc grabs everything out of the trunk and we go inside and it looks so nice. I'm glad we went to a cabin instead of actual camping, to be honest I don't really like sleeping in a tent so this is way better. Not saying that I didn't like our last trip cause it was fun but sleeping on a bed is so much better then sleeping in a sleeping bag on the ground in a tent.

Later Me and Luc get hungry so he decides to go to a store that was near the cabin. I went with him cause I feel so much safer when I'm with him, we walk inside of the store and we look around a bit trying to find something to eat. Luc says he's been craving chips so we grab a bag of chips and as we are standing there waiting to pay for them we talk. 

After talking for a bit we finally pay for the chips and head back to the cabin.

Later I was sitting on the bed while Luc was sitting in a chair and we talked for a little bit.

We had the fire going because it was getting cold but we look over at the fire and it went out. It was raining outside and Luc said he would go out there and get more wood but of course I went with him. It was really slippery because of the rain so he told me to be careful and I was trying my best.

I was going pretty slow so I don't fall on accident but I wasn't looking where I was going and there was random branch on the ground and I tripped over it and I twisted my ankle but to me it felt broken. Luc saw me on the ground in pain so he asks me "Are you ok, what happened?"

I tell him "I wasn't looking where I was going and I tripped on a random branch and I think I broke my ankle"

He feels bad and so he asks me "Can you walk on it?" 

I said "I don't know"

I try to walk on it but it hurts so bad and I almost fall over.

I say "Luc I think you need to take me to a hospital"

He says ok.

He helps me get inside of the car and takes me straight to the hospital.

We finally make it to the hospital and yes my ankle is broken so they put a cast on it and they tell me that I'm gonna have to pick up some meds for the pain. After that Luc carries me and gets me into the car and we get the meds and drive back to the cabin. 

We get to the cabin and Luc carries me inside and sets me down onto the bed. He tells me he's gonna go get the wood and that I should stay right here and I shouldn't move.

I say back "Ok but where am I gonna go, I can't walk"

He just laughs and so do I. He goes out to get the wood and I just lay down, He gets back and puts the wood into the fire. He then lays right next to me and we cuddle.

We lay like that for an hour or two and then I fall asleep right in his arms. He kisses me goodnight and I drift off to sleep. Today was something else but at least I got to spend it with Luc. He's the best boyfriend ever, I can't live without him and I never will.
