Eleinah's Point of View

We both decided to talk in our, or his house. This place is much safer and there's only the two of us here. Wala kaming maiistorbong mga tao kung dumating man sa punto na parehas na naming hindi mapigilan ang sarili namin.

I was just waiting for him to come back from the kitchen, he insisted on making a snack for us.

"Here, juice and–"

"CJ, hindi 'yan ang ipinunta ko dito. Maupo ka nalang at mag usap na tayo para matapos na." seryoso kong sabi.

Hindi na siya naka imik pagkatapos no'n, naupo nalang siya sa kabilang silya at bumuga ng hangin.

"Explain."

He fixed his seat before looking at me. He sighed again until he finally spoke.

CJ's Point of View

It was so devastating to think about what just happened. I survived all of those but it still felt like I already lost my life.

Fate is sabotaging my success, everything fell apart. My newly built factory got burnt into ashes, my hard-earned business fell, some of my employees were injured, my house almost got burnt too, my body got several burns, and my 5 months wife left me...

Nagsisimula palang ako sa pagbangon ko mag isa, sinisimulan ko palang na ipakita sa mga taong nagduda sa akin na kaya ko kahit wala sila, pero bumagsak nanaman ako. Siguro tama sila, wala nga siguro talaga akong mararating sa buhay.

I was hospitalized for a day after the incident on the factory. I payed for my employees hospitalization too. I'm now experiencing a heavy bankruptcy.

I'm lucky to survive that fire, but maybe I'll be more thankful if I just didn't.

Blangko ang isip ko at wala na ako sa sarili. Hindi ko alam kung paano ulit ako babangon, hindi ko alam kung saan ako magsisimula. Wala na nga atang patutunguhan 'tong buhay ko.

I think I'm going to lose my mind. Mababaliw na ata ako. My parents don't love me, my business is gone, and my wife left me because I had no money that would feed her desires. Akala ko dadamayan niya ako pagkatapos ng nangyari. We vowed to each other that we will be together through thick and thin, but she didn't kept it. She broke her vow and left me broken.

My heart is full of love for her and now that she's gone, I don't know where or who to give it instead. She broke me and yet love remained in me.

I was just about to leave the ward when I saw a new patient coming in. Two nurses are examining her and fixing the apparatuses on her body.

"Natawagan na raw ba yung kamag anak?"

"Oo, hinihintay nalang daw dumating."

"Kawawa naman 'to, namamaga yung buong muka niya. Buti nalang hindi ganon kalala yung mga sugat at sunog sa katawan niya. Sana lang mamukaan siya nung kamag anak niya."
