"I love him. I love him even if he's seven years older than me." I think to myself as I watch my friend, Seungcheol typing away on his laptop.

Seungcheol notices after a few minutes which causes him to look up from his laptop to meet my gaze.

"What?" Seungcheol quietly laughs because we're in the school library

"I love you." I simply say

That caught Seungcheol off guard.

Seungcheol cleared his throat then looked back down to his laptop.

"I already told you that we can't be together." Seungcheol says as he types away on his laptop

"Just because you're seven years older than me doesn't mean anything." I protest "I mean I'm a first year college student who is 19 already"

Seungcheol sighs and meets my gaze again "Exactly, you're seven years younger than me and you're a first year college student. You have a whole college experience ahead of you."

"I want you to be apart of my college experience." I simply say

"I'm already apart of it." Seungcheol lightly smiles

"I want you to be more than a college experience. I want to love you forever. I want to be with you forever."

"You're really honest Y/N, that's what I like about you."

I sigh at his comment and look down at my book.

This was a conversation we had every once in a while. But the conversation always ended with me being defeated by rejection.

It was silent for a minute.

"If you still love me when you're 26, then we can give us a chance." Seungcheol says which causes me to look back up at him

Seungcheol has never said anything like that before which shocked me.

Seungcheol quietly laughs at my shocked expression.

"Hurry up and read your book so we can get out of here." Seungcheol says

"But you aren't done with your assignment." I reply

"I finished it a long time ago."

"Then what were you typing for so long?" I question

"I was writing about how much I love you." Seungcheol replies while shutting his laptop.
