Cafe Barista Mingyu

Every day I go to the same cafe.
I partly go to study and do my school work but the other half is because I get to see the cute barista.

The way his bangs fall in front of his eyes and he has to shake his head to get them out out his view is so cute.

I smile to myself at the thought of that image.

I walk into the cafe which causes the bell above the door to sound. The cute barista turns his attention to the door to look at me.

He smiles brightly once he sees me.
I however am I already smiling due to the image I was picturing.

"Hi, Y/N" the boy says as I walk up the counter

"Hi, Mingyu"

"The usual?" Mingyu asks while pointing his finger at me

"Yup" I nod

"You got it" Mingyu then walks over to the coffee machine

"Here." I say referring to the money in my hand

"It's on the house." Mingyu smiles then continues making the coffee

"Yah Mingyu you can't keep giving me free drinks and cake. Won't you get in trouble?" I ask while still holding out the money

"Remember, my parents own this cafe? so I won't get in trouble."

"Right" I laugh then put my money in my backpack

I walk to my usual table which is far from the counter but still have a clear view of it.

I take off my backpack, put it on the chair next to me and sit down.

I take out my books and laptop so I can get to work.

Here and there I would steal glances at Mingyu.

Eventually I got into the mindset of school work so I didn't pay much attention to my surroundings.

"Here you go." Mingyus voice sounds

I look up from my laptop and see him placing my coffee and cake down on the table.

"Thanks Mingyu." I smile up at him

"No problem, so do you have a lot of school work?" Mingyu asks

"Um, not really" I lie

"Great, mind if I sit with you."

"Not at all." I say while closing my laptop

Mingyu smiles brightly and sits down across from me.

"How's school?" Mingyu asks

"Good, just like usual. How's school for you?"

"Good too, oh! I have a basketball competition tomorrow so I won't be here."

"Oh nice, well good luck!" I hold out a thumbs up

Mingyu laughs at my action then says "If you're not busy, do you maybe want to come?"

"Yeah, I would love to." I smile brightly

"Great, can I have your number to send you the info?" Mingyu asks

"Yeah" I nod while taking my phone out of my jacket pocket "here you go" I pass it to him

Mingyu then takes his phone out of his apron and hands it to me.

We enter our contacts then hand each other's phone backs.

"I'll text it to you tonight." Mingyu says

"Sounds good"

Just then the bell above the door rings, revealing a couple.

"Well I'll let you continue with your work. Later" Mingyu says while getting up
