Disappear Dino

Me and my boyfriend Chan sit together, hand in hand. Nervously giving each other little hand squeezes.

My parents stand before us with a letter in my moms hands.

"Y/N Y/L/N congratulations! You have been accepted in attending Shanghai University." My mom reads out

My heart drops as soon as I hear the word congratulations.

My parents shout and jump in place together in excitement.

Chan and I just sit there in silence.

My parents stop once they notice neither Chan or I move or say anything.

"I'm sure you two can visit each other every once in a while." My dad says to try to make us feel better

There was silence for a minute before I broke the silence.

"I don't want to go." I whisper but loud enough to be heard

"You wanted to go to this school ever since you were little. You can't just abandon your dreams just because you want to stay with Chan." My dad says honestly

"Your dad is right Y/n. I don't want to hold you back so please go. " Chan says with sadness in his voice

"But what about us?" My voice cracks

"You know I'll always love you." Chan weakly smiles

"You guys can spend all your time together before you leave in 2 weeks." My mom reassures us

We just nod

My parents just sigh then continue, "dinner will be ready in an hour." They say before leaving the living room

"Let's go to my room." I quietly say to Chan while standing up from the couch

Chan follows my lead as we walk to my room.
I close the door behind Chan whenever we get into the my room.

We walk over to the bed and lay down facing each other.

"Chan I don't want to leave you."

"You have to, this is all you've ever wanted."

"But now, I just want you, even if it means not attending my dream school."

Chan sighs "I would feel horrible if you didn't go to your dream school just because of me. Plus I want to support you through school just like how you're supporting my dream of becoming an idol."

"Just know I'll be waiting for you to come back home." He adds on

"Fine, I'll go but promise to call and text me everyday even if it's late or I'm busy."

Chan laughs "deal"

-2 Weeks Later-

Over the past two weeks me and Chan have been together 24/7.

But the time of us separating has finally come.

My parents, Chan and I stand in front of security at the airport.

"Be good Y/n, make sure to eat and stay healthy and call us whenever you can. We'll miss you, " My parents say before embracing me in a tight hug

We embrace each other for a minute before pulling away.

I look over to Chan who is looking straight at me with teary eyes.

"Chan" I cry out while embracing him in a hug

"Take care of your self, don't over work your self, make sure to drink plenty of water and eat plenty of food." Chan rambles on

Chans voice cracks which causes me to pull away a little to see his face. "Chan don't cry." I say as I see Chan crying
