Chapter 30: Finally

The next morning...

I woke up the next morning at around 10:30. I then got out of bed and went to the bathroom to do my moring routine. When I was done, I decided to wear a light blue blouse with jeans.

I then went downstairs to find my family in the living room.

"Good morning everyone" I greeted them.

"Good morning Rosé" they greeted me.

I went to the kitchen to eat something before joining them in the living room.

"So Chaeyoung, how was your date last night?" mom asked.

"It was fine" I said.

"What did you think of Jae-hwa?" dad asked.

"Jae-hwa is nice. She's not a bad person." I said.

"So does this mean there'll be a second date?" mom asked with a slight smile.

"No" I said.

"Why not?" dad asked.

"Because I don't like her like that." I said.

"Well that's because you don't know her yet. Maybe you two should go on another date." mom said.

"No, I don't want to go on another date with Jae-hwa." I said.

"But-" I cut off my mom.

"No buts. We already agreed last night that we don't like each other that way. Plus I already have (Y/N)." I said.

Mom and dad looked at each other with an uneasy expression.

"Maybe we should find you someone else. We're not sure aabout (Y/N)." mom said.

"Yeah, maybe that will be-" I cut my dad off.

"No. Get to know (Y/N) first before you judge her based on her appearance." I said.

Mom and dad still looked at me not sure.

"Please, mom, dad. I really like her." I said.

"Okay sweetie. We'll try to get to know (Y/N)." mom said.

I immediately gave them a bright smile.

"Thanks mom" I said.

I got up and gave both of them a hug before going back upstairs to my room. I then took my phone and sat at the foot of my bed.

'Now to call her.' I thought.

I dailed (Y/N)'s number and prayed that she'll pick up this time. After a few rings, the phone was picked up but I heard another female voice.

Hello - ???

'Who is this?' I thought.

Um hi. Is (Y/N) there? - me

Yeah, she's here - ???

Can you pass her the phone? - me

Sure - ???

"(Y/N), wake up. Someone wants to talk to you." I heard the female say.

I then heard (Y/N)'s voice.

"Hmm, leave me alone, Hyungseo." I heard (Y/N) say.

"Yah, get up. Someone wants to talk to you." the female said.

"Who is it?" (Y/N) asked.

"It says 'My Roseanne'." the female said.

There was a moment of silence before (Y/N) picked up the phone.
