The boy's parents had no idea how it happened. All they knew was their son woke up one morning and believed he was a robot. At first it was cute. Playful, even. The boy would move like a robot and talk in a robot voice. But he never stopped. He went to school. To sports. Even church. Walking and talking like a robot.
The parents began to grow worried. No matter how many times they told their son he was a real boy, he just wouldn't believe them. Until he took a shower and short circuited. They believed him then.
