Recap: Kalie had a trip to the office, got 3 days of In School Suspension, had to tell her mom and now she's having to face her biggest problem....her dad.
Dad: How was school the best daughter ever?

Mom: Kalie. you put your stuff down and come in here.

Dad: is she in trouble?
Mom: ask her.
Dad: Kalie are you going to be in trouble?
yeah.
mom: you know better than to say yeah.
going to be in trouble anyways so what's it matter.
Dad: lose the attitude. now why are you going to be in trouble?
dad...i...I have 3 days of ISS and 3 days of detention.
Dad: for?
Mouthing off to Mrs.Adams, Smart mouthing mom, and being disrespectful to Mr.Speir.
Dad: KALIE GOODE.
and the yelling starts...
mom: 'snaps at me' hush.
Dad: that's it. I'm tired of your smart mouth lately. sick and tired of it. 'he pinched the bridge of his nose' you know what. I don't even care anymore. you're not grounded. I'm not spanking you. I'm done. I'm just so disappointed.
mom: Daniel? you're not going to do anything?
Dad: no..if she wants to get in trouble then she will, her decision.
mom: go to your room kal.
He went pretty easy on her...maybe or maybe not....Daniel and Amy's conversation is next chapter...let's see how Amy reacts to Daniels "no punishment" plan....
