A Brother’s Deception.                            Chapter 16, Chances.

During the long flight, it was peaceful for the two couples. But in the last hour of the flight Dakota was on edge,

“Love, what’s the matter? I’ve see that you’re uneasy?” Caleb whispers into Dakota’s ear,

“I’m still nervous about going back. I’m secure about us. But My father, Carson, and Jax are up to no good. It puts my stomach in knots. I just want this mess over with. It was refreshing to get married and seeing my mother.” Dakota lays her head on Caleb’s shoulder,

“I love you so much Caleb!” Dakota whispers into Caleb’s ear,

“I love you too, Kota Love.” Caleb whispers back kissing her softly on the temple, as he hands her a glass of Chardonnay while he had a glass of scotch.

“Kota, we’ll take it one day at a time. We’re going to take the control back.” Dakota chuckles softly,

“That would be great. Maybe we should let them think what they’re in control. It’ll be amusing.” Caleb smirks at her,

“We Kinda are, but it’s going to be more interesting when we get especially when everything is filed.” Dakota arches her brow,

“When we get back, our marriage license should be filed. But don’t say anything until I check for sure.” Dakota smiles,

“I have to say I feel  now that we’re married.  They can’t say we can’t be together?” Caleb gives Dakota a reassuring smile,

“Yes, my Kota. You’re my wife. When it’s time, they’ll know.” Dakota exhales,

“Until we go public when around others I’ll put my rings on my right hand.” Dakota frowns as Caleb nods,

“It won’t be for long. Now are you up to talking about the possible meeting with Jax Anderson.” Dakota sweated for a minute before responding,

“I really don’t like the idea of spending time with Jax. But I will only be for our cause.” Dakota snuggles close to Caleb again,

“Love, continue to wear the  jewelry devices. They are very important for me, Rylen and Dusty to be able to listen to assist you.” Dakota gasps softly as Caleb kisses her softly,

“OK, I can do that. We need to set boundaries. The idea of being around him makes my skin crawl.  I know he’ll want to touch me.” Caleb’s face was crestfallen,

“I know. It boils inside of me as well. But you’ll be coming home to me. That’s to my deepest comfort.  I love you my sweet Kota.” Dakota snuggles more into Caleb’s chest,

“Yes, it’s the one reassurance for me as well.” Dusty and Hope joins them,
“How are you two doing heading back home?” Caleb and Dakota look at each other,

“It may be a little rocky when I first get there. Until I’m sure the license is filed, and it’s official. That way we can go public.” Dakota looks at Dusty and Hope nervously,

“Carson, my father, and Jax thinks that Caleb and Hope are married. The news of our marriage will be a huge news of our marriage will be a blindside for them.” Hope giggles softly,

“After everything they’ve done to you, they deserve it.” Dakota nods at Hope,

“I’m ready to get my life back before they pulled us apart.” Caleb squeezes her hand gently,
