The first several days back from vacation, Dakota buried herself into her work. She was blessed that Jax was busy with the children that he was volunteering with. Jax watched Dakota while he worked with them.
The second day after Dakota returns, Jacob meets with Jax over the financial documents in the conference room. After several hours of work, the men sign with relief.

"Well, Jax, I had no idea that we had wasted funds. At least now we can use them better. Would you work with me each month?" Jax gives Jacob a small smile,

"Sure. What do we do now?" Jax asks curiously as Jacob pulled out his phone,

"Give me a minute. I need to check on something." Jax nods as Jacob texts on his phone,

Jacob: Good morning Dakota. How are you?

Dakota: I'm feeling good. How are you Jacob?

Jacob: I'm doing good as well. Jax Anderson and I went over the agency's fiancés. We would like to discuss it with you.

Dakota: That's nice. Will both of you present?

Jacob: Yes. Shall we meet in an hour?

Dakota: Yes. I'll see you then. Bring everything, I'm excited to hear what you've found.

A few minutes later, Dakota calls Caleb on her second phone.

"Hello my Love. How's work going?"

"Hello husband. It's been busy, but I don't mind."

"We knew it was going to be. That's why we enjoyed our vacation. Did you call to just say hello or for a reason?" Dakota lightly chuckles,

"How about both? Will that be OK?" Caleb smiles in the phone,

"That's more than fine with me. I just love hearing your voice." Now Dakota had to giggle,

"Within in an hour, Jacob and Jax are coming to see me regarding the financial project. Do you want to listen in?" Silence was thick on the line,

"Who's going to be in the meeting." Dakota Shook her head,

"Me, Jacob, and Jax!" A small growl comes from Caleb,

"At least you won't be alone. Please put the ear piece in. That way if I have any questions you can ask them." Dakota softly signs,

"Alright. I'll have everything activated before they come in." Caleb chuckles,

"Dakota, I trust Jacob, but not Jax. Plus I need to hear the results of their findings." Dakota clears her throat,

"I wish you could be here. I feel more secure if you were here, I don't trust Jax at all." Caleb chuckles,

"Love, we can't leak our ruse..." Dakota groans,

"I agree with you. I just miss you." Caleb chuckles softly,

"I miss you as much my sweet Kota.! But I'll see you tonight." Dakota giggles softly,

"I know my lover and husband. I'll talk to you soon."
The couple hang up, so Dakota could have lunch. Then She'll be able prepare for the up coming meeting. Five minutes before the meeting, Dakota turns on all of her devices before Jacob and Jax arrive, then she texts Caleb.

Dakota: Caleb, the devices are on the meeting is in a few minutes. The ear piece is in.

There's a soft voice in Dakota's ear,
"I love you, Kota." Dakota smiles at his voice,
