The house wasn't as big as I expected it to be, and I only say that because I was expecting a mansion, which this wasn't. It was larger than an average home though and had about six bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms - according to Ahsoka. But despite it being somewhat smaller than I thought, it was still bigger than anything I've ever lived in and it was absolutely beautiful.

There was a gate where Anakin had to press in a security code to open—which I'm guessing is something he installed himself—and once we drove through, I was in awe. They had a gorgeous garden that surrounded the house along with a water fountain that was across from the front door. And the house itself was pure white, but the windows and doors were painted black. It looked elegant and classy.

This place was a thousands times better than the dumps I grew up in, including the average house I currently live in with that one man-child, "Your home is so beautiful," I complimented as I gazed out of the tinted window and noticed a black cat run past the front door and into the bushes.

"Thanks," Ahsoka and Anakin said at the same time. I also wanted to note that she was now in the back seat with me, allowing Piett to sit in the front with Anakin.

"I'm the one who chose the exterior and interior designs though, because someone knows nothing about appeal and tried to paint the house yellow," Ahsoka grimaced and dramatically shivered in disgust.

Anakin sighed in annoyance with a light eye roll, "I happen to like yellow, and you may have chosen the colors, but I was the one who paid for it and allowed it." He tried to keep his dominance over the household, but it's clear that she has him wrapped around her finger, but only because he loves her so much. Which I happen to envy a little bit. I can't think of anyone who would walk into hell for me as these two would for each other. I used to think Connor would, but with the way he's been treating me lately, I now have my doubts.

And I do have my own family, but after my fathers passing, we all grew distant. You would think something so traumatic would bring everyone closer together, but it was the opposite.

The only one I still have a decent relationship with is my mother, but she moved away shortly after I got married to find her own happiness. Which I understood and supported since she spent so much of her life taking care of my brother and I - but I do miss her terribly.

Ahsoka smirked as she leaned forward towards her brother since she was the one who was seated behind him, "You sure like to throw around that you have money a lot, trying to impress anyone?" She teased before slightly turning her head to shoot me a wink.

He verbally said nothing, but his annoyed glare at her through the rear view mirror spoke for him.

Anakin pulled the car into a garage that was adjacent to the house, and we all got out once he turned it off, "Come with me, I'll show you to my room so you can put your stuff away, and then I'll give you the grand tour." She interlocked her fingers with mine as she walked me towards a door that I'm guessing led to the inside.
