Y/n's pov

"That boy Akio truly is kind", my father chuckled before shoving a piece of steak into his mouth. "Mhm", I hummed using my fork to play with the stealing sauce. "Gave us a lovely sum", he giggled. "Mhmm", I hummed not caring for his words. "You find him exceptional then, don't have to see that Muzan anymore", my father questioned. "No father I do not find Akio exceptional", I answered glancing up from my plate. "Since we're on the topic what did you tell that boy, he left as if he seen ghost or something", my father questioned causing a small smile to appear on my face. "Oh nothing just about our marriage customs", I sighed. "Marriage customs", he questioned. 'Yeah, told him that once we get married I was going to chop his head off, remove the skin and then place his skull on the wall in front of my bed so he could be the last thing I fall asleep too", I explained. "Told him that's why he's never seen my mother", I added chuckling a bit. My father slammed his fists onto the table while standing up, anger bloomed onto his face.

"WHY WOULD YOU SAY THAT", he shouted. "I was just joking, I rather a husband who knows how to take a joke", I explained. "That's far from a joke", he snapped. "Muzan laughed at it, so it is considered a joke", I smiled. "Good lord", my father sighed slumping back down into his seat. "Muzan is a deeply deeply troubled man who I rather you not marry", my father explained. "Thought I have a choice", I scoffed. "You do, but if I have to stop you from making a life long mistake I will", he replied. "Please, you're just trying to marry to the riches man possible", I huffed. "Exactly life is about riches, not love, not skulls, to live comfortably", my father explained. "So you didn't love mom", I questioned. "...I did", he answered. "Doesn't matter can you please just look for a man less like Muzan", he pleaded. "I suspect he's' a demon", he added.

"Thought you didn't believe in demons", I questioned. "I don't but he reminds me of one", he huffed. "Red eyes, chilling aura, sharp nails and pale skin", my father explained. "Or he could be ashy", he questioned then eyed me. "No father that's his skin tone", I chuckled slightly. "I rest my case then please search for another suitor", my father demanded standing up. "..I'll consider it", I replied. "Good goodnight", he replied then walked off heading to his room. I watched as he did before turning back forward.

"Hell no", I giggled to myself. I lift my left hand placing it on the table. In it was a rat skull. I used my thumb to rub it gently admiring the texture. It was a gift from Muzan. I lift it up close to my face, admiring the little skull while thinking of him. I could tell this rat was killed earlier today

           "He's like a cat too"
