Hello, people of Wattpad. The Creator here.
So, if I'm being honest with myself here, I'm not too pleased with how this book went. I'm glad that I wrote it but what I'm not pleased about is how I wrote it. Whether you agree with me or not, this is what I didn't like about it:
•Too many songs
•Not enough dialogue to tell the story after the Sofia the First series
•General laziness when I wrote it
•And that the execution of my original idea was bad
I will say, this went a lot better than my first attempt at writing a Cedric book which slowly became a Hamilton knockoff. I have deleted that book so don't go looking for it.
Back to the reason why I'm making this author's note; I am rewriting this book. I'm not changing the story that much. I might add some new things to, hopefully, make it more interesting but, other than that, it'll more or less stay the same. I'm just doing some heavy editing in a separate book because 1: some people seem to like, what I'm calling, my first draft of this book, and 2: I'm editing it so much that it may as well be a separate book.
A little taste of what I will be doing to edit it is the following:
•Less songs
•Possible new songs to replace old ones
•More story-telling dialogue
•Editing spelling or grammar errors
•Possibly adding something new to the story
•Overall, fixing this whole damn story
Other than that, it will all be the same just shortened and hopefully fixed and characters will remain the same.
I'm going to stop here and let you find the book hopefully when I publish this Authors note
