"Arre bhai...koi ghar pe hai? Ya mujhe akele hi saara samaan upar le ke jaana parega?" The woman asked.
"Mom?" Abhi came out of his room with Cabir. The two brothers ran over and hugged the woman. "Aapne bataya kyun nahi ke aap aaj aane wale hai? Hum lene aa jaate."
"Koi baat nahi beta. Actually mera aana bhi fixed nahi tha. Woh toh deal jaldi sign ho gayi toh main bhi jaldi se vapas aa gayi." The woman said. "Vaise bakki sab kaha hai?"
"Woh shopping gayi hai." Harsh told her as he came down the stairs. "Nandini ke saath."
As Harsh said Nandini's name, his wife's face changed and she got emotional.
"Na...Nandini?"
"Yeah....Manik ki wife hai. She is so sweet Mom." Cabir replied, not picking up on the exchange of looks between his parents.
"Ridds knows her from before....Nyo aunty ki hospital mein intern hai." Abhi added.
"Abhi...Cabir. Tum dono apne Mom ki samaan upar le jao." Harsh said.
"Ok Dad." Abhi & Cabir took the bags and went upstairs.
"Harsh....Manik ki biwi...Nandini? Humne yeh sab uske liye kiya tha. Usse Raghav ke saath rakha taa ki woh inn sab se door rahe, safe rahe...aur-"
"Kaha ka safe." Harsh scoffed. "Riddhima ne batayi ki woh Guptas kaise torture karte they Nandini ko...usse marte they aur paata nahi kya kya karte they....How was she safe there? How could we do this? Kaise usse wahan chod diya humne? Usse zyada safe woh humare saath rehti."
"I didnt know...ki Raghav itna gir jayega. Mujhe laga woh jitna hum sab se door rahegi utna safe hogi lekin mujhe nahi paata tha ki Mafia khandaan mein aana uski naseeb mein likha tha. Ab kya hoga Harsh? Usse kuch...paata hai?"
"Nahi....kaise paata hoga? Woh itni choti thi....I couldnt tell her. Lekin, ab humme sab sach bata dena chahiye usse." Harsh replied.
"Nahi...nahi bata sakte hum."
"Lekin..."
"Kaha na nahi bata sakte!"
Abhi & Cabir who were at the top of their stairs were very confused by their parents conversation and their Mom's reaction.
"Mom Dad pehle se Nandini ko jaante hai?" Cabir asked. "But how?"
"I dont know...aur yeh kis sach ki baat kar rahe hai?" Abhi asked. "Should we ask them?
"Agar batana hota humme toh wahan se bhejte kyun? I think humme khud paata lagana hoga." Cabir replied.
"You are right..." Abhi nodded. The brothers left.
Next Day
It was the day of the wedding reception. Guests had started arriving and the house was fully decorated. The Dhawan kids ere present but Harsh & his wife were both not there.
Manik was talking with Rehaan, Cabir & Abhi when suddenly sensed something and looked towards the stairs. A moment later, Nandini rounded the corner and started walking down in a beautiful white/ silver lehenga.
