In Harshad's Office.
"DAMMIT!" The unknown man shouted, pushing things off Harshad's desk. "Baar baar.....baar baar yeh Manik bach jaata hai, all because of that Nandini."
Harshad just laughed while the man glared at him.
"What? You were the one who said Nandini is not a threat ab kya hua?"
"Well I thought she wouldnt be....lekin mujhe kya paata tha ke mere raaste ka sabse bada kaata wohi hai." The man snarled. "Honestly...I had nothing against her...absolutely nothing par ab uska marna zaroori ho gaya. Kyunki jab tak Nandini hai...tab tak Manik ko hum kuch nahi kar sakte. Nandini will HAVE to die first."
"Well....at least hum dono bach jayenge aur saara ilzam Aliya pe jayenge." Harshad replied.
"Yeah...." The two men laughed.
In The Hospital
Manik woke up in a private hospital room with Nandini sitting on the chair beside him. She was checking over his reports but from her expression, Manik could tell her mind was somewhere else.
"Nandini..." Manik spoke up, catching her attention.
"Manik...tumhe hosh aa gaya..." Nandini turned and looked at him all emotional. She then lay her head on his chest, hugging him and sobbed. "You are so stupid...kya zaroorat thi maar khaane ki huh?"
Nandini sat back up and glared at him. "Ishaan ne bataya tha ki tumne ek baar akele 40 logon ko maara tha....why didnt you do that? Kyun chup chap maar khaate rahe Manik?"
"Agar baat sirf mera hota toh, main asani se maar deta sab ko. Lekin....baat tumhari thi." Manik replied, he stared deep into her eyes. "Tumhari jaan ke saath main koi risk nahi le sakta tha."
"Kyun?" Nandini asked.
"Tumne uss aadmi ko goli kyun maara?" Manik fired back.
Nandini stayed quiet. "Yeh Manik bhi na....sawal ka jawab sawal se kaun deta hai?"
"Manik..." Rehaan entered with Dhruv. "Tum thik ho?"
"Perfectly...uss admi ka kya hua?" Manik asked.
"Bhai.....he.....he killed himself." Dhruv replied.
"What!" Manik sat up. "Kaise?"
"Hospital ke roof pe interrogate kar rahe they hum....aur woh kood gaya." Rehaan answered. "He died on the spot....doctors bhi bacha nahi paya."
"DAMMIT!" Manik got frustrated but Nandini calmed him by placing a hand on his shoulder.
"Manik...calm down."
"Bhai...there was one name he mentioned." Dhruv said. "Aliya."
"Aliya? Matlab...Aliya Saxena?" Manik asked.
"Yeah....we tortured him for hours and finally usne Aliya ka naam liye par phir isse pehle ke hum kuch aur puche....he just jumped." Rehan replied.
"That doesnt make sense..." Nandini spoke up.
"Bhabhi...I know Aliya lagti nahi hai...par she is just as dangerous as Harshad." Dhruv told her.
"Nahi...woh baat nahi hai." Nandini replied. "Aliya is obsessed with Manik....mujhe attack karna samajh aata hai par agar inn logon ko Aliya ne hire kiya hai toh Manik ke peeche kyun paare they? Aliya would never have told them to do that."
"Actually...Bhabhi is right." Rehaan said. "And woh aadmi....Aliya ka naam lene ke baad he didnt have a reason to commit suicide kyunki woh humare kabze mein th, its not ike she could have reached him....phir why did he jump?"
"Abhi pata chal jayega ki sach kya hai. Chalo...." Manik moved to get off the bed but Nandini stopped him and glared.
"Oh hello....kahan chalo? Tum patient ho bhool gaye ho kya? Chup chap laiti raho." Nandini demanded.
"Lekin Nandini...Im-" Manik stopped when he saw Nandini narrow her eyes at him and lay back down. "-gonna lie down right now. Tum dono jao....Aliya ke saath baad mein deal karenge."
"Ok Bhai.." Dhruv left with Rehan as they exchanged an amused look. As soon as the door closed behind them, Manik grabbed Nandini by her waist and pulled her onto him.
"Manik! Kya kar rahe ho? Lag jayega tumhe!" Nandini said, she was mostly embarrassed about the position they were in.
"Im good." Manik smirked. Nandini was getting abit flustered with their proximity and seeing this Manik just pulled her closer and planted a kiss on her cheek.
Nandini gasped out loud, her eyes became so big and her face went all red. Manik couldnt help but chuckle.
"Manik...yeh kya tha?"
"Kyun? Tumhe nahi paata kya tha?" Manik asked amused.
"Nahi...haan...matlab...nahi...woh...sab dekh lenge na!" Nandini said.
"There is literally noone in the room Nandini." Manik looked around.
*********************
Meanwhile Dhruv & Rehan told everyone else that Manik was awake and resting.
"Dhruvji...uss aadmi ka kya hua?" Riddhima asked.
"He's dead....lekin usne bataya ki usse Aliya ne hire ki thi."Dhruv replied.
"What!" Mukti shouted. "That bitch....samjhti kya hai woh apne aap ko?"
"Lekin Nandini bhabhi ko lagta nahi hai ki Aliya ne yeh kiya....I think she is right. Zaroor koi aur hai." Rehan added.
"Toh ab?" Cabir asked. "Manik kya karega?"
"He said we will deal with Aliya par abhi nahi. Ek baar woh thik ho jaaye tab." Rehan replied.
"Ok...well hum sab ko ghar jaana chahiye. Itne logon ka yahan rehna allowed nahi hai na." Abhi said. Everyone agreed and aside from Nyonika & Riddhima who worked there, they all left and went home.
