Sick Day

"Are you okay??? Why aren't you at school??" I picked up the phone to my worried boyfriend.
"I'm fine eej, I just have a cold. I didn't want to get anyone sick."
"I'm coming."
"Wait, EJ I don't want to get you-" I said as EJ hung up. I laughed to myself at my stubborn boyfriend.

10 minutes later I heard the door open. "y/n??"
"In here!!"
"Hey, lovely." my boyfriend said as he entered my room.
I threw my pillow at him, "Go back to school."
"mmm...no."
"I don't want you to miss the content. It'll be hard to make up."
"I'll be fine." he said, hopping into my bed.
"EJ, I don't want to get you sick." I said scooting away from him.
He pulled me back, "I never get sick."
"No one's immune system is that good. You've had to get sick at least once."
"Nah, must be from all of these abs." he shrugged.
"That's totally not how that works."
"It did for me." EJ said as he kissed me on the head.
"Fine, but if you get sick you can't blame me."
"mkay, it's worth it."
I giggled, "Have you watched To All the Boys *not me in love with peter kavinsky...heh...*?"
"uhm...nope. A rom-com I'm guessing?"
"Do I even watch anything else?" I asked.
"You do not. I shouldn't have even asked." he facepalmed sarcastically.
I turned on To All the Boys as I snuggled into EJ's arms.

-2 hours later-
"So?" EJ asked.
"Yes!! Yes!! Of course I will marry you Ethan John Caswell." I opened my eyes. It was a dream. Dang it.

"Oh, you're awake!" EJ said as walked into my room.
"Yes, I'm sorry EJ."
"What are you sorry for?" he asked, confused.
"Well...you wanted to spend the day together. I fell asleep."
"y/n...I came to take care of you. I want you to get healthy soon. You don't have to apologize for sleeping." he said, laughing. "Oh, hey I made mac n cheese." he said.
"YOU DID???"
"Yes!"
"Best. Boyfriend. Ever." I said as he went to get the mac n cheese from the kitchen.
He brought it back into my room. It smelled so good. "Thank you." I blew him a kiss as he got back into my bed. He unpaused To All the Boys.

"I love you." he said to me.
"Love you too."
