Five days later,
Bucky picked up Kendra at her house.
"You look amazing." He said as they walked to the car.
"Thank you." She said
He opened the car door for her, when she sat down he shut the door. He took her to eat at their local diner that had a 1950s vibe to it. They shared a strawberry milkshake when they finished their burgers and fries.
After dinner, they went to the local theatre to see "Forgetting Sarah Marshall". After their movie was over Bucky took her home.
As they stood on her porch, "Kendra will you be my girl?" He said
"Yeah." She said
He lifted her chin a little, as he leaned down and kissed her goodnight.
"Goodnight my darlin." He whispered
She smiled as her heart pounded in her chest, "goodnight." She whispered
He kissed her one more time before she went inside, and he walked to his car.
"Tonight was amazing." they both said to themselves.
