Two Years Later
Bucky had his boys for Christmas break, he was at the town's Christmas Palooza when Kendra showed up with Dolly Rose, and Elaine.
"You should talk to her." James said
"Dad no." Bucky said
An hour later, Bucky left the twins with his mom. Everytime he looked at Kendra he was reminded of how much he messed up things. How it wasn't suppose to be this way. He finally walked over to where she was.
"Kendra.." he said
"Oh hi.." she said
"Can we talk?" He said
"She would love to." Elaine said
"Mom.." Kendra said
"Talk to him.." Elaine mouthed as she walked off with her grand daughter.
"Where is Colton?" He said as they walked the opposite direction.
"He and I are no longer together or involved in each other's lives. Business or personally, in fact he is in Paris currently with his new model of a girlfriend." She said
"What about her?" He said
"He signed his rights over to me." She said
"So your new single Better Luck Next Time isn't about me.." he said
"Oh no, that and I Quit Drinking is all about him." She said
It went quiet, "So where is your wife?" She finally said
"We are no longer together, she and I split up 5 years ago." He said
"Oh.." she said
"She found out about me and you after your concert. The Covered with Memories album she wasn't happy that I kept that a secret. It also made me realize some things." He said
"What things?" She said
"That I still love you. But I know that I screwed up Kendra, and it will take time for you to trust me again. So I would be happy if at least we can be friends again?" He said
She looked down, "Okay we can." She said
He lifted her chin, "You are better than any model darlin." He said
She smiled at him, "Thanks." She said as they went back towards to the crowd.
