1 month later,
Kendra started her senior year at UNC, she was doing her homework when Bucky called.
"Hey.." he said
"Hey.." she said
"So I have some bad news.." he said
"What now?" She said
"Ive been chosen to go on a secret mission to a top secret location. I won't be able to check in for six months cause I won't be back here at all during that time." He said
She gulped. "That doesn't sound like you'll be home when your deployment is over." She said
"Yeah I know." He said
"And it sounds scary Bucky." She said
"I know baby." He said
She looked down, "I leave in the morning at 0500. So I have wrap this up and call mom and dad." He said
"I love you Buck and promise me you'll be safe and come home to me." She said
"I love you too baby, and I will do my very best to get back to you." He said
She blew him a kiss, and he blew one back. That night Kendra cried herself to sleep as she was even more scared that he wouldn't be back.
