Chapter 19 Cross the Bushmen

In the morning, Danmaku is on his way to buy a charger for his phone while his friends are having breakfast at a certain restaurant.

Danmaku's thoughts: Should I invade Kayden's citadel? I hope he doesn't mind.

Danmaku was busy thinking when he suddenly ran into Kunou and Issei's group.

Kunou: You! What are you doing here?

They took out their weapons, prepared to fight Danmaku.

Danmaku:...

Koishi(whisper): Danmaku, I don't like them~.

Danmaku didn't say anything, he started approaching them. They were already preparing for what would happen next but Danmaku just walked past them, completely ignoring them.

Issei: Hey! Stop, why did you attack us yesterday?

Danmaku keeps on ignoring them. Issei couldn't take it anymore, he was about to attack Danmaku from behind but Asia held him back.

Issei: Asia!

Asia: Please, don't do it. You almost died yesterday, I don't know what I am going to do if that happens.

Issei sees Asia crying, he hugs her.

Danmaku:... Consider yourself lucky because I'm kinda busy right now.

Danmaku was about to leave when Xenovia stopped him.

Danmaku: What now?

Xenovia: You still haven't answered the question, why did you attack us last night?

Danmaku: If your friend hadn't pushed me and made me drop my things, this wouldn't have happened. Now get out of my way before my hand starts feeling itchy.

Xenovia saw that she had no other choice, she couldn't defeat Danmaku so she had to listen to him.

Issei: What should we do now?

Irina: I think we should let Azazel investigate him. We still don't know anything about him.

Cross, Yukari and Marisa are sitting on a bench in the park and eating ice cream that Yukari stole earlier.

Cross: You know, I may not be very convincing, but you shouldn't steal...

Yukari: Fufufu, if they didn't see me then I'm innocent.

Cross: Also true, but still. Please don't steal, we're not in a war.

Marisa: I have never eaten ice cream before, I feel my brain is numb while eating it.

Cross: Then slow down. Then you won't get brainfreeze.

While they were eating, they were suddenly enveloped in fog, everything around them turned gray.

Cross: Well this totally isn't suspicious at all.

Yukari: Looks like someone dragged us to a parallel dimension. I don't know who did it but they made a grave mistake by dragging us in here.

Cross: So we're gonna have to fight?

Yukari: For now, let's just enjoy our ice cream. I bet Danmaku is looking for us right now.

Cross: mmm 'kay. If we get attacked then I'll try and protect us, kay?

Yukari giggled, she grabbed Cross' chin and kissed him on the forehead.

Yukari: A little bit of motivation from me.

Cross:... Not sure if it's motivation when it's coming from you, but I'll take it.
