After rounding up a few other people - all but one hybrids and their families with one vamp who had over-heard us talking and wanted to help - His name was Damien, we ran back to Forks. Everyone was shocked when I walked into the house with 100-odd vampires following me.
"Wow Don," Rose started, dumbfounded, "Didn't know you knew so many vamps let alone those that wanted to help us!"
"Well yeah," I stated, as if they should know already - which they should, "You already know I'm nearing 3000 years old and you know I have helped birth hybrid babies before. Well these are those hybrid children and their families."
"We all owe our lives to Donna." One of the mothers, Sacha, spoke up.
"Well except him." Sacha's daughter, Amena, added, pointing to Damien, "He over heard us talking and wanted to help." Everyone laughed as we got ready for the fight of a lifetime. Or more like fight of an eternity.
"Only 3 days til Christmas." Bells whispered to Eddie.
"We'll be ready." He reassured her.
And ready we will be...
