<Belladonna POV>
Forty-five minutes later I was back in my rooms staring at the innocent looking stick that had been sat on my bathroom side for five minutes. I looked towards the box and reread the instructions on the side:
1. Pee on stick
Check
2. Leave for five minutes
Check
3. Turn over - Two lines = Pregnant, One line = Not Pregnant
Deciding to just do it, I turned over the stick and almost fainted - two harmless little lines were burned into the paper-like surface of the test.
I was pregnant.
Before I had time to fully process this, my phone rang making me jump. I checked the caller ID to find it was Alice calling. I breathed a sigh of relief knowing she would have seen if it ended badly. Knowing this I picked up the phone - using one of the nicknames I made up for her recently.
"Hey Allie Cat."
"Allie Cat? I like it! Anyway Congratulations!!"
I giggled at her classic Alice-ness which made me instantly calm down.
"I guess you are already on your way?"
"Of course! I dragged everyone with me but only us girlies know why! We need to find a way to tell the kings."
I looked out at the city of Volterra and smiled.
"Actually - I already have an idea."
