Kai met a dark hair girl in his last class before lunch. She basically dragged him to her lunch table. He took seat next to her, because she pulled out a chair for him. He gives her a thank you smile which she makes her drool
Kai was staring at his food as he felt awkward with the way Jessica-he thinks he name is, stared at him. He looks up when he hears more people coming. His eyes light up when he sees his twin will he sitting with him.
"Bella" he greets smiling at her
"Kai" she smiles back
"Y-y-you two know each other?" a blonde boy stutters
"Twin brother" he replies pointing at himself
"Cool" the boys smiles jealousy leaving his features "S-so you met my home-girl" he says looking at the asian boy who lead Bella to the seat.
"Your home girl?" the boy replies
"My girl" another dark skinned boy yelled kissing Bella's cheek and pulling the blondes chair and running off.
"It's like first grade all over again, you're the shinny new you" Jessica says jealousy written over her face clear as day
Kai shakes his head rolling his eyes. He looks to talk to his sister when a flash goes off making him blink repeatedly and look up at a girl with purple glasses
"Sorry, i needed a candidate for the feature" she says smiling
"The features dead, Angela" Eric snaps standing up "Don't bring it up again" he shakes his head
"I-it's ju..." Kai's twin starts but gets cut off by Eric
"It's okay baby, i've got you're back" he pats her back walking away
"Baby?" Kai whispering giving his sister a questionable look but she mouths 'Don't ask' and he nods
"Guess i'll just run another editorial on teen drinking" sulks Angela
"Or you could do eating disorders" suggest Kai
"Speedo padding on the swimming team?" adds Bella
"Yeah, that's a good one" Angela gushes at his sister
"Kirk, right?" pitches in Jessica
The two start gossiping but instead on listening to them his attention is caught by the people just entering the cafeteria
"Who're they?" Bella asks looking in the same direction as her twin
The two girls glance up to see who Bella was talking about and both turn back excitedly
"The Cullens" Angela says
"They're Dr. and Mrs Cullens foster kids, they moved down here from Alaska a few years ago." Jessica says
