The following day after the 'incident' Kai didn't see any of the Cullens at school and Rosalie wasn't answering his calls. Kai was confused, he didn't know what he did.
Kai sat in his new car just staring at the steering wheel wondering what was going to happen. He knew that things were going to change.
Kai sighed closing his eyes and leaning his head on the wheel. The car door opens and closed quickly before Kai could even lift his head, he turns and in surprise sees Rosalie sitting besides him.
She offers him a small smile and he knew that something was definitely wrong.
"Drive" she said plainly, Kai nodded and started the car driving, listening to Rosalie instructions on where to go.
Once Rosalie told him to stop, Kai pulled over. He raised his brow at the park where they spent a lot of their school holidays at. Kai looked toward the blonde who didn't spear him a glance and instead got out of the car.
Kai followed her out and the two sat on the swings next to each other.
They sat in silence, Kai not knowing what to say and Rosalie scared of what was to come out of her mouth.
"Kai..." Rosalie started in almost a whisper. He looked up and met her eyes and all he saw was pain. "I...we're leaving" she stutters
"Leaving?"
"Yes, it's become to suspicious, Carlisle looks why to young for the age he's supposed to be" she explains lying through her teeth
"Leaving?" he whispers again
"I... Kai i don't want too" she closes her eyes "It's...it's for our own good and yours too"
Kai shook his head scoffing "Don't you dare say it's for my own good, why do you decide what's for my own good?"
Rosalie sighs "Please, i'm begging you, don't make this hated than it already is"
"Hard?" he laughs dryly "Hard? Rosalie this a isn't just hard. I...i don't know if i can live without you" his voice broke
Rosalie was quickly in front of him and she used her thumb to wipe away the tear that fell down his cheek
"Please don't leave me" he begs leaning into her hand
"I have too" she says, Rosalie titles his head up so that their eyes lock "But...i promised Edward i'd give it a year. That if you can't find happiness and still want me back..." she trailed off
"I'll always want you" Kai says taking her hand off his face and holding it in his hand
"Then i'll be back in a year" she promises
"I don't think i'll make it" he says honestly
"Neither do i" she gives him a sad smile "A year" she says
"A year" Kai repeats
Rosalie bends down and Kai tilts his head up more so that their lips meet. They kiss with so much passion that Kai felt as if the would end and all that would matter is this kiss right here
"I love you Malachai" she whispers when they pull away
Their foreheads lean against each other's
"A year" he says again
"A year" Rosalie agrees
"I love you Rosalie Hale" he says making her smile
"Goodbye for now" and with that she was gone
"Goodbye for now" Kai whispered to the wind hopping that she would hear him
Kai closed his eyes and let the tears spill.
