When Kai climbed into the truck completely ignoring Rosalie stare which was burning a hole in the back of his head, he waited patiently for his sister. She walked out of the school and he immediately noticed something was weird.
Bella climbed in the car and Kai stared at her.
"What?" she asks
"Spill" he says and she blushes making him raise his brow
"We spoke" Kai slowly nodded his head "And he was nice" she smiles
"Thats good" he nods "Because next time he isn't i might have to teach him a lesson" he jokes making Bella laugh and punch his shoulder
"Sure you will" she says, she starts the truck and drives off.
Kais eyes subconsciously land on the blonde who was already staring at him with a look of pain on her face. He shook his head and leaded it against the seat letting out a sad sigh
The next day wasn't any better for Kai. He was still frustrated at the blonde and he didn't know what to do. He got dressed and walked outside just in time to see Bella fall. Kai swallows his laugh as their father runs to the clumsy girl helping her up
The two talk and Kai zones out trying not to laugh. Bella glares at him knowing very well what was happening
"Shut up"
"Hey! Watch your language" he teases smiling at her to which she shakes her head
"Your-you're so unbelievable" Bella chuckles
"Yeah, yeah. I'm awesome in a unique way" he throws his arm around her shoulder "Now lets go to hell" Bella laughs and lets her brother lead her to the car and open the door for her.
Getting to school the twins stand by their truck waiting for the bell to ring. Kai was listing to music and every now and again glancing up to look at the blonde.
He wasn't paying attention until he saw a black SUV speeding toward them. He acts on impulse and pushes Bella to the side and closes his eyes waiting for impact. Instead of being crushed he feels himself fall to the floor hitting his head. He opened his closed eyes and looked up to see that Edward freaking Cullen was holding his sister up and the pushing the SUV away with his hand. He try's to sit up but feels a sharp pain in his head. He groans laying back down.
"Kai!" Bella panics and goes to her brothers side
"You okay?" the bronze headed hero asks
"Peachy" Kai says his eyes still shut tight.
The ambulance came and made a big scene to which annoyed Kai even more than his throbbing head.
Once they got to the hospital, they put Kai, Bella and Tyler in the same room. Kai laid on the bed his hand intertwined with his worried twin.
