"Wait, hold on a second" Kai said opening his eyes as he laid on his back "Bella and Edward are together. Like together, together?"
Rosalie stared at the boy amused "Yes, you didn't get that from them arriving to school together with his arm over her shoulder?"
"No, i mean i saw it and all, but i just thought that it was like when you would pick me up when we weren't dating yet" he shrugs
Rosalie chuckles "You truly are clueless"
"Am not" he scoffs playfully
"You are, but..." she leaned down and pecked his lips "I love you for it" he smiled blushing
"And i love you too" he leaned upwards and kissed her
She pulled away but he whined and pulled her down on-top of him and kissed her harder.
When they pulled away Kai was smirking as the blonde basically straddled him.
"We shouldn't be this close" she muttered
"What?" he furred his brows
"I shouldn't be this close to your pulse" she closed her eyes
Kai immediately recognised that she wasn't breaking and got scared.
"Rosalie, i'm sorry" he whispered
"Don't be" she climbed off his lap and sat besides him a little out of arms reach. "It's not your fault"
"What can i do?" he asks
"Just sit still." he nods
After a few seconds of silence Rosalies lets out a breath and Kai closes his eyes, guilt driving him crazy.
"It's not that bad" she said, Kai snapped his eyes open "Your blood isn't that bad"
Kai gave her a confused look and Rosalie chuckles
"It's not that strong," she shakes her head "It's there but barely, it's like a faint smell. I spoke to my family and they agree." he nods as she continues "But sometimes it...it's different for me." he narrows his eyes even more confused "I don't know why, but sometimes... sometimes your blood, it smells almost to good to resist"
"I'm sorry" he mumbles
"It's not your fault" she assures taking his hand into her own placing a kiss upon his palm "You trust me, right?" he nods immediately "Because i would never hurt you"
He smiled at her "I know that"
"Good."
The two sit in a comfortable silence when Rosalie speaks again
"It's getting better" she admits "The more i'm around you, the more i care for you, the easier it is for me."
"Rosalie, i know you would never hurt me, not on purpose anyways. I trust you" he cupped her cheek with his free hand rubbing it slowly "More than you'd ever imagine"
"I know" she leans into his touch "Do you want to meet my family?" his eyes widen and he stares at her in shock
"Your.." he gulps
"You- you don't have to," she sounded disappointed
Kai shook his head "No, i mean yes... i mean i would love to meet them, you just took me by suprise"
She grinned at him "Okay, they're expecting us in half an hour"
"What?!" he screamed "I haven't showered, i haven't eaten!" he panics meanwhile Rosalie laughs "This isn't a laughing matter" he scolds
"I'm...i'm sorry" she says between laughs "you just... you sound like the girl of the relationship"
Kai gives her a hurt look "Am not!"
"Mmm" she shakes her head giggling "Go shower" the blonde gently pushes him "If you're not done in twenty minutes i'm leaving without you"
"And then how will i meet your family?" he teases
"You will walk" Kai playfully rolled his eyes and jumped off the bed
"Can't have that now can we?" he walked into the bathroom
Once Kai was done getting ready he meets Rosalie downstairs where she already warmed milk and poured him, his cereal.
"Thanks" he kissed her cheek sitting down and eating
"Of course" she grins "So, Bella and Edward are also coming by later to meet the family"
Kai nods "Cool"
"You're nervous?" she guesses
"Very much" he sighs
"Don't be. They already love you"
"How's that?"
"Well, Esme says that since you make me happy she doesn't care if you were green with a third eye, Carlisle believes the same. Alice is always optimistic and already sees you as a brother" he smiles "Emmett can't wait to have someone to talk football with. Jasper does whatever Alice wants, even though if we're being honest he's not really happy with it. Bailey, is well Bailey" she chuckles
"Okay" he nods "So my charm works on those i haven't even met yet" he jokes
"Most certainly" Rosalie plays along "You just have that effect on people"
"yes, yes, you've mentioned it before as the reason why you always keep me so close"
"Exactly" she kisses his cheek "Now lets go"
Kai sighs and gives her a smile "Lets go"
