11. The more that you say

The nights air was cold but that never seemed to effect the sleeping boy who the blonde vampire couldn't get out of her head. She stared at him as he slept. She found it completely odd when it came out that Edward watched Isabelle but with not seeing him made her anxious and she decided to take up her brothers suggestion.

He shifted in his bed pulling Rosalie out of her though. She let out a breath of relief when he didn't wake.

Kai tossed and turns his head sweaty. Rosalie sighs sitting in the seat besides his bed and puts her cool hand on his head making him smile softy and lean into her touch

"Don't leave me" he mumbles making Rose frown wondering who he was taking about
"Promise me. Promise me you won't leave me, Rosie"

Rosalie stared at the boy in complete shock. She didn't know how to possibly handle this situation, she just stared at him and smiled. She leaned forward and kissed his forehead making him smile in his sleep

Suddenly his eyes fluttered open and Rosalie rushed out of the room.

Kai's eyes opened and he noticed the familiar blonde hair but just as quickly as it was there it was gone. He switched on the lamp besides his bed and rubbed his eyes.
Kai shook his head and switched the light back off, laying back down and going back to sleep. Yet his mind never left the blonde.

The morning when Kai woke up he never forgot the blonde he saw just wondering if it was by dream or reality. It frustrated him that he couldn't get her out of his head, no matter how hard he tried.

Walking downstairs after his morning routine he took out his cereal, warmed the milk and ate quickly.

"In a hurry?" Bella asks

"Hmm" he hums his mouth full

"Any reasons?" she asks

"Nope" he lies shaking his head

Once they finished Bella drove them to school. Getting there they saw the busses standing ready to go on the field trip.

"Ready?" The brown headed girl asks motioning to the busses

"Yay!" he said with fake enthusiasm making her chuckle
"Let's get this over with" he said getting out the car

"Kai!" he heard his name get yelled he looked up to see a red headed girl he noticed watching him a couple of times. She jogged towards him as her friend winked his way

"Hi?" he said awkwardly rubbing the back of his neck

"I-i was- i was wondering if- if you'd like to go to the dance with me?" she stuttered out and Kai smiled at her. She was adorable and beautiful, not Rosalie beautiful but beautiful non the less.

He chuckled awkwardly locking eyes with the blonde behind her. He shook his head and smiles at her "You- you know what? I'd love too" the girl squealed and hugged him to which he hugged her back awkwardly

"Yes!" her eyes widened "I mean, that's cool" she kissed his cheek before jogging away to her very existed friends.

Bella came to him and gave him an amused look

"Over Rosalie?" she asks motioning to the blonde who was glaring at them

"Not yet" he shakes his head sparing her a glance and then walking to his friends

The bus pulled up to their destination. The minute the bus stopped everyone piled out as fast as they could as excitement took over. Kai shook his head at the childishness of the situation

He walked with Jessica and Angela. Jessica was talking his ear off about all the gossip he has missed for the past seventeen years of not being in town.
His arms where locked with each of them before Mike came and took Jessica away.

"So Ang, who you asked to go to the dance with you?" he asks

"I- i really want to ask Eric but he- he doesn't seem to get the signs" she sighed

"I think you need to go to him and tell him what you want" he says "Because honestly, boys are stupid" he states making her chuckle

"Preach" he laughs "You're different though" he smiles at her

"And you are amazing. If Eric doesn't notice that then he is an idiot" he tell her and she smiles kissing his cheek

"You're to sweat"

"I know" he teases making her slap him playfully

Soon after Angela left his side and he walked alone till a presence was besides him. He looked to his side seeing a short spiky haired pixie

"I'm Alice" she chirped

"Rosalies sister" he says more of a statement then a question

"Yep!"

"I'm.."

she cuts him off "You're Kai." he nods confused "Rosalie talks about you a lot"

He smiles "She does?"

"She does" Alice returns his smile "You like her?"

"More than you would know" he says

"Then why did you say yes to Tracy?" Alice asks curiously

"Because your sister doesn't really feel the same" he sighs sadly making the pixie chuckle

"She does" she promises "Rosalie- Rosalie just doesn't know how to show how she feels"

"I- i get that, but i can't- i can't just wait for her to realise that i'm good enough" he shakes his head "I can't be hurt again" he closes his eyes

"I'm sorry" she frowned at him

"It's not you're fault." he smiled at her sadly

The long days finally came to an end and Kai climbed on the bus with his headphones. His thoughts were going mad.

'Was saying yes to Tracy wrong?'

'Should i talk to Rosalie?'

He closed his eyes and turned the music up letting the loud sound drown out his thoughts.
