The day of the dance, Kai stood in front of the mirror straightening his tie. He slicks his hair back again and sighs when it flows forward again.
"You look good" Rosalie says from the doorway
"What are you doing here?" he jumps "Aren't you supposed to be getting done?"
"I have time" she shrugs. Rosalie walks towards him and straightens his tie again
"Damn" he frowns "Every time"
Rosalie giggles and uses her hand to make his hair look decent.
"What time you picking up Tracy?" she asks dryly
"Jealous, Rosalie?" he teases "You know we're just friends?"
"Yeah" she shakes her head "But i can't help it. You're just too cute that i need to keep you close" he blushed
"Need i remind you, i'm all yours" he assures and kisses her cheek
"I better get going" Rosalie said making him frown "Alice will kill me if i'm not back in five minutes"
"Then go please. I like my girlfriend alive?" she raises her brows "Well alive as they get" she chuckled and kissed his cheek
"I like when you call me your girlfriend" she admits
"Good" he pecks her lips "Because i like saying it"
"I don't wanna go" she whines
"I don't want you to go" he frowns pulling her into him
"If you keep this up i might never leave" she teases
"That's a good thing" he kisses her lips. Their lips moved together and no matter how many times it happens it was still sparks flying.
"God i love you" he blurts, Kai's eyes widen "I- i..." Rosalie cuts him off with a kiss
"I love you too" he smiles brightly
"Thank goodness" he pecks her lips
Rosalie pulls out of his arms with a frown "I gotta go"
"I know" he kisses her cheek "I'll pick you up in a few"

"What do you mean?" Kai asks he looks out the window and groans "Damn, Bella took the truck" Rosalie chuckles
"I'll pick you up in 10 minutes"
"Ten minutes?" he asks "Don't you need longer to get done?"
"Are you saying i need more time?" she teases
"N-no i- i never said- i never said that" he stutters
She giggles "I'm joking" she assures "Plus Vampire. Remember?" he nods
"So you can like speed get done?" he asks
"Yup" she nods "Okay, i'm leaving now" he nods sadly and watched her leave
Kai got done and then walked downstairs when the bell rings.
"There's my boy" Charlie says
"Dad" he whines "Why?" he asks glancing at the camera in his fathers hand.
"Your mother. She said she'd kill me if she doesn't get pictures" he rolls his eyes
Kai opens the door for Rosalie who left him speechless.
"You look... wow" he stares at her
"You don't look so bad yourself, Malachai" she giggles kissing his cheek m
"Pictures, pictures" Charlie says waving the camera
"Dad" Kai shakes his head "Please" he begs
Rosalie shakes her head and pulls her to him "We're taking the pictures" she says and he nods
"Yes, ma'am" Kai loops his arms around her waist, he presses a kiss to the side of her head as Charlie snaps the photo
"Great" Charlie smiles "Have fun" he mumbles awkwardly
"Thanks, Mr Swan" Rosalie smiles making the man blush
"Please call me Charlie" he corrects
"Sure thing Charlie"
Kai pulls her with him as he walks to the door
"Gotta go dad" he closes the door behind him
Kai opens the car door for Rosalie and gets into his side of the car. He smiles at her intertwining their fingers
"Hey beautiful" he smiles at her
She giggles "Hey handsome. So where must i pick up Tracy?" she frowns
"Um, we don't need too." he smiles at her "She called and said it wasn't necessary"
"Why?" she asks
"She said she didn't want to intrude and she wasn't really into going"
"Cool" she nods and starts the car.
Rosalies car pulls out into the parking lot at the school. You could hear the music blasting and the lightening flashes.
Kai gets out of the car and opens the door for Rosalie holding out his hand. Rosalie takes his hand and lets him help her out and close the door behind her.
"Did i tell you how beautiful you look?" he asks
"It might have came up" she giggles
"Well you do. You seriously are." he blushes "Beautiful i mean"
"Thank you"
They stop at the door as the photographer snaps a picture of them.
Walking inside people were dancing, the atmosphere thick with heat.
"Wanna dance?" Kai asks
"You can dance?" she teases
"My mom really liked to have a dance partner at her classes before Phil." he admits
"You're mother took you with her to her dance classes?" she chuckles trying to picture it
"Yeah, i shouldn't have told you that" he looks down
Rosalie takes his face in her hand and makes him look at her
"i find it cute" she assures "I like a man who can dance" he blushes
He hums and pulls her closer to him as they sway to the music. Rosalie puts her head in the crook of his neck and he places his head on hers
"I love you" she whispers sending shivers down his spine
"I love you too"
