51. Life was a willow

Bella left with Edward and Kai was left in an empty house.
The clock clicked loudly as Kai prepared for himself dinner. He worried for his blonde love and her family. The red head in which they chased was a dangerous women.

Kai switched the stove off and took his food off. He placed a small portion of pasta in his bowl, grabbed a fork and sat on the couch.
Kai switched the TV on and sat in front of it putting on 'Greys Anatomy'. He has recently got addicted and couldn't stop.

It took his mind off the worry that he felt. Kai doubted that he could sleep without knowing that Rosalie was okay.

After eating Kai didn't realize when his eyes started getting heavier and he fell into a deep sleep. His dreams were plagued with nightmares.

Kai stood in an open field, the clouds separated to let out a ray of sunshine. On the opposite side of the field their stood a figure. It looked to be a small child about maybe the age of ten or eleven. The child waved at him excitedly. Kai stared at the small child with confusion, he had never seen the child yet she seemed to know him. The girl waved Kai over and his feet automatically moved towards her.

The closer he looked the further away she seemed to be getting. Kai ran trying to get to her and as he seemed himself getting close. Kai stops running and looked around to see the small child was gone. He panicked and tried to find her, he felt as if he needed to find her. Kai took of running in a random direction.

He stops when he hears his name being called, Kai looks up but no one was there. He was alone. Kai again heard his name being called and he moved in the direction.

The brown haired boy paused in his movements when he sees his twin sisters staring at him. Her eyes were red as it stared at him as if he was her next meal. Kai called out to his sister but she seemed to be lost. She seemed to want nothing more than to rip into his throat and drain the life out of him. Kai backed away, he tried to run when his foot got caught on a tree branch and he fell onto his back. Kai started to crawl away but Bella was to fast. She slammed her foot onto his leg breaking it into many pieces. Kai screamed in pain.

Kai woke with sweat running down his forehead. He sat uk breathing heavily. Kai switched the TV off and collected his bowl putting it in the sink. He went upstairs and goes to take a shower as he was drenched in sweat.

Kai leaned his head against the shower wall as the warm water touched his cool skin. Kai wondered what the hell kind of a dream her had. Ever since Bella had made them all vote Kai had wondered what was to happen when she turned. Would he never be able to see her again or would he have to wait years? Would he have to lie to his parents that she was dead when he knew that she was alive or well as alive as a vampire can be?

Kai was worried that he only had a little time with his sister. He was worried what would become of his mother and father. He worried of what would happen when Bella was turned and the Cullens had to leave. Would Rosalie leave him as well or would she stay as she promised. But Kai knew her promise to stay could be easy broken as it was before.

Kai switched the water off and got out. He changed and went i his bedroom. Kai also my jumped out of his skin when he sees the blonde siting on his bed. She smiled at him and he immediately knew something was off. Kai walked towards her and sat besides her. Rosalie leaned her head on his shoulder.

"What's wrong?" he asks

The blonde let out a breath "She got away"

"Now what?" he asks the blonde glancing down at her

Rosalie shrugs "I don't know. Neither does Alice. But what i don know it that i willing let anything happen to you" Kai nods

"Rosalie?" the blonde hums
"What will happen once Bella turns?"

Rosalie sighs "I don't know"

"And what if they want to leave? they most probably will as Bella will have to be dead" Rosalie sat up and took Kais hand in her own.

"I will never, and i mean never leave you again" Rosalie says ""You are stuck with me till the end"

"What if-what if Bella's right?" he asks

"About what?" Rosalie furrows her brows

"About being a vampire, what if she is right?" Kai cups her face "I would love an eternity with you"

Rosalie eyes flicker closed "I would too. But..." she encourages

"I-i don't know if i want that" he sighs "I don't know if i want to-if i want to die"

"I know" Rosalie says "And i will never tell you to do something you don't want."

"But what if it's best?" he question "What if it's what we need?"

Rosalie shakes her head "Kai, i can assure you that you don't need to become a vampire" she tells him, Rosalie kisses a the corner of his mouth "You are perfect the way you are, i never want you to change ever. You as human is perfect and if you want to be a vampire that it's perfect as well, because Kai, it doesn't matter if you are a fricken unicorn all that matter is that you are you" Kai blushes

"I love you" Kai presses a kiss to Rosalies cold lips "You truly are the best thing that has happened to me" Rosalie smiles

"You Malachai Swan are the reason for me to live."
