Kai opened his heavy eyes and was surprised when sunlight blinded him. He groans and smiles wondering if he'd see Rosalie today.
Getting ready he wondered if she would ever tell him what he wanted to hear because if she did then he would basically sell his soul to the devil to make sure that he is by her side ,no matter what.
Once he is finally done he walks down the stairs kissing his sisters head. Kai grabs a banana and walks out the house climbing into the car, waiting for his sister who was taking her sweet time.
Bella gets in the car and Kai sighs happily
"Finally!" he cheers
Bella gives her brother a weird look but shrugs starting the car and driving. The truck pulls into the sunny parking lot and Kai shakes his head sadly when he doesn't see the familiar car parked in its usual spot.
"At least it's sunny" he mumbles causing Bella to laugh
"At least" she agrees
The day seemed to drag and Kai was in a not so inviting mood today. Everyone around him was confused about his mood since normally the sun brings out the best in people but Kai was definitely not one of those people.
When lunch arrived he sat with his sister and Jessica- who was bathing in the sun. Sunglasses placed on the bridge of his nose.
"What's got you in a mood?" Jessica asks and the boy glares at her "Never mind" she mumbles
Kai rolls his eyes and lays his head on his twins lap as she stroked his hair. His eyes closed as he drifted off, when someone jumped scaring him. He jumps up as he sees a very excited Angela.
"Angela!" he bellows
"Sorry" she bows her head "Eric said yes" she says to his sister
"Really?" Bella asks and when the girl nods as smiles brightly at her
Jessica and Angela start talking about going dress shopping when Bella chimes in
"You mind if i tag along?" Kai raises a suspicion brow at him
"Yeah definitely, i need your opinion" Angela says
Tracy walks by and pulls Kai away.
"Kai" she smiles at him which he returned with a small one of his own
"Tracy" he says in the same tone
"I just wanted to tell you that my dress is blue" she kissed his cheek, blushing she rushes away when the bell rings giving him a small bye
"Blue?" he asked wondering why the girl would give him that information "Bella!" he called his sister but sighed when he saw she's already gone "I guess i'll ask later" he mumbles walking to class
Once the long day came to an end and Kai finally got to go home only after the sun had set since he had practice, Kai started walking home.
A car light flashed and he smiled knowing exactly who it was. He climbed into the car without a second thought and smiled at the blonde
"Rosalie" he said
"Kai" she responded in the same tone
"So i guess you decided i'm worth it?" he asked raising a brow
"You've always been worth it Malachai" he groaned at the use of his full name "But i'm not"
Kai scoffs "You? Not worth it?" he shakes his head "Rosalie Hale, don't you dare ever say anything that idiotic to me again"
The blondes eyes widen as she turns to him "But i'm not" she pressed
"Rosalie, i don't care that you think you're some worthless being, because you're not. And if i have to spend the rest of my life trying to convince you of that, than i'm okay with that"
Rosalie looked at him with such love in her eyes that if she could she would she sobbing
"Don't say things like that" she tightened her hold on the steering wheel
"Well, you better get used to it, because i'm never gonna stop telling you how worth it you are"
"What about little red ridding hood?" Rosalie snapped and Kai looked at her confused
"Oh, Tracy" he said making her stiffly nod "Rosalie, the only reason i said yes in the first place was because i was angry with you and wanted you to be jealous"
"But you like her" she said
Kai sighed "Yes i like Tracy" Rosalies knuckled became even more white with the hold on the wheel "But never the way i like you. You... you make me feel things that i shouldn't feel. And i think i might just be falling... fast"
The car pulled to a stop and Kai got out, but before closing the door he looked at her
"Rosalie, i'm going to go to the dance with Tracy, but... it you decided that you want to try i'm all in," he was about to close the door when Rosalie stoped him by calling his name
"Where a blue tie" he gave her a confused look but nodded "I'll see you at the dance. Goodnight Malachai"
"Goodnight Rosalie" he closed the door and the blonde sped off
