Kai woke with a searing headache and a pain in his right hand. He got up slowly putting his left hand on his forehand and rubs soothing circles. Kai stands and pulls a hoodie over this head and walks downstairs.
He finds Bella sitting at the table "Hey" he whispers walking past her and to the cupboard where he takes out his pills and a glass which he fills with water.
"What happened to you?" Bella asks making Kai shrug
"Not your business" he snaps and walks away leaving Bella with her mouth open in shock
"Great" she whispers to herself
Kai sat on his bed with a plastic bag and tape, he wraps his cast in the bag and tapes it tightly. Once done he climbs in the shower and gets ready for the day.
After showering Kai gets dressed and head out the front door. He gets into his car and drives to Emily and Sams. Pulling up he gets out and knocks on the door. Paul Lahote opens the door and lets Kai in
"Thanks" he whispers
Kai walks to the table and sits down. He's immediately handed a plate
"Thanks" Emily nods smiling
Kai ate the food Emily handed him and talked to the werewolves sitting around him
"Wait so will anyone...transform since the Cullens left?" Kai asks
"Yes, there's other vampires" Kai raises a confused brow
"Redhead" Paul says
"Victoria?" Kai asks making them all snap their heads in his direction
"You know her?" Sam asks crossing his arms over his chest
"Not really no." Kai shakes his head "Her boyfriend tried to kill us but the Cullens killed him" he explains
"And her?"
"I don't know. She's not dead that's for sure" Kai looks a sip from his soda
"Do you know what she wants?" Sam asks
Kai shrugs "Revenge. Maybe"
"Revenge? Why?" Emily frowned
Kai paused to think "Edward killed her boyfriend. She probably wants to get even" Kais heart began beating, "Bella"
Kai stood and ran out the door closely followed by Sam, Paul and Jared.
"Kai!" Sam called "Slow down. We won't let anyone hurt Bella"
"She's a vampire" Kai states "He's not even here and he's putting her life in danger"
"And we are werewolves" Paul smirks "Redhead doesn't stand a chance"
"You'll- you'll keep her safe" Kai stresses
Sam nods "We'll do our best" Kai nods
Kai climbs into his car without an word and speeds off. He didn't know where he was going but he couldn't stop. Kai pushes his foot down as the speed of the car increased. His eyes were on the road and his mind was on the redhead who was going to kill his sister. Kai didn't care about himself, honestly if he could sacrifice himself for his sister he would do it in a heart beat.
