After Jungkook helped Jimin through his panic attack, the two got closer. They'd FaceTime regularly, even making themselves meals to eat with each other over the calls. They'd talk about how their days went, their favorite games, and other things about themselves.
Jungkook and Jimin were surprised how much they had in common, from the little things like how they preferred their ramen or hoodies all the way to more personal things like being from Busan and having similar fears and values. They just clicked.
Jimin was surprised how fast he got close to Jungkook. Usually, he was more guarded. Working with Sung-ho made Jimin feel anxious about being treated as some sort of object, sexual or not, just for being an omega. But Jungkook was different. He didn't just ignore that Jimin was an omega and act like they were all the same. Jungkook embraced the fact that Jimin was an omega and that Jimin had a different set of obstacles because of it. It was nice. Being with Jungkook felt nice.
So that's what had the omega nervously fiddling with his lip and fingers, wondering if he was really going to go through with this. His heart pounded hard, making him squeeze his eyes shut. He looked at the mirror, embarrassed by how he did his makeup just to video call the younger beta. Even though he thought he was being delusional, he couldn't help but think that maybe, just maybe, Jungkook had taken a special interest in him.
"Or maybe he really is just that nice." He looked at the makeup remover and sighed.
Should I? Would he even notice?
Jimin shook his head and decided to just leave the makeup on and played with Alley until Jungkook would finish up and call him like he normally did.
