Chongyun POV:

~Riiiiinnnnnggggggg~

I opened my eyes, Startled at the sudden sound,

"Chongyun, get up, class is over!" Bennett sighed as he tapped my shoulder,

"You're really lucky you haven't been caught sleeping in class yet. You know that, right?" He huffed, looking at me with a kind of fed-up expression,

"Yeah, I know.." I laughed, nervously rubbing my eyes,

I stood up, and Bennett followed as we made our way to the cafeteria,

"What do you think you're gonna get for lunch?" I asked,

"Haha.. I don't have any money.." Bennett responded, rubbing the back of his neck as he forced a smile,

"Huh? How come??" I questioned, now concerned,

"Well, this morning, my dad was sleeping really heavily, and I didn't want to wake him so... yeah." He frowned,

"Oh yeah, your dad works the night shift, doesn't he?"

"Yeah, he got home really late last night, so I wanted to let him sleep."

"You're such a nice person, Bennett." I smiled, trying to make him feel better, "and I'm sure Razor will share his lunch with you if you ask him to!"

"Awh.. Thanks, man. I'll ask him, but I do feel bad constantly stealing his food.."

"Seriously? Don't worry about it. He loves sharing lunch with you!"

We walked into the cafeteria and went over to our usual table by the window. We used to sit in the middle, but people would crowd around us trying to talk to me, so we moved since Razor hates big crowds.

"Benny! Chongyun!" Razor smiled excitedly as we walked up to the table,

"Hello, Razor!" I smiled back,

"Hey Razor!" Bennett smiled as he sat down next to him, "uh.. Do you mind sharing some of your food with me?" He asked nervously,

"Yes, yes, take how much you want!" Razor agreed, pushing his lunch box over to Bennett,

"Thanks, Razor." Bennett smiled, taking out a sandwich. he tried to push the lunch box back, but razor stopped him,

"No, no, no. Take more!" He commanded,

"But-"

"No buts! You haven't taken any veggies! You must eat your veggies!"

"Are you just trying to get me to eat all the vegetables for you?"

"Yes. Take."

I sat and smiled as I watched the two boys quarrel over veggies. It really was entertaining. Eventually, Aether sat down with us.

"Hey guys!" He waved, and as usual, we all waved back,

"What are you eating for lunch, Chongyun? You don't have anything?" Aether asked,

"I have cold soba in my bag. I'll eat it next break." I replied,

After a while of watching Bennett try and make Razor eat veggies, the bell went. My next lesson was english, so the likelihood was I was going to end up asleep again.

I walked to class and took my seat. None of my friends were in this class, so sleeping was risky since I had nobody reliable to wake me up. I did my best to stay awake, and as I was just about to fall asleep, I heard the teacher say,

"Please work with the person next to you; you have half an hour. Go."

I sat up and realized I had never even bothered to look at who I was next to in this class, and now I need to work with them!?

I looked next to me to see a boy with blue hair, unevenly cut, and a really pretty face...

I got a little lost looking at his features until I was brought back to reality by the sound of clicking fingers.

"Hey, stop staring at me and get some work done!" The boy huffed. I could see him shaking slightly, so I decided to try and be nice and... not emotionless.

"Haha, sorry, I zoned out a bit. What's your name?"

"I- uh-, my name is Xingqiu.." he stuttered, clearly caught off guard by the question, which is strange since it wasn't a weird question to ask,

"My name is Chongyun." I smiled,

"I know." He muttered,

"So... This is kind of awkward, but.. I don't really know what we are doing.."

"Seriously?!"

"Haha... sorry..."

He sighed, rubbing his forehead,

"It's fine. We are analyzing this poem; we have to pick out 3 quotes and analyze them. Simple as that."

"Right, ok..." I mumbled,

The rest of the lesson was just me and Xingqiu analyzing quotes, and then at the end of the lesson, the bell went.

I stood up to leave and then noticed that Xingqiu hadn't moved, and his eyes were glued in front of him.

"Uh.. Are you ok?" I asked,

He blinked and then looked at me, seemingly confused,

"Yes. I'm fine."

"Are you sur-"

"Yes."

I sighed. Clearly, he wasn't going to talk to me, but that made sense since we only first talked half an hour ago.

I turned to leave, but something still didn't feel right... I decided to ignore it and leave anyway. I didn't want to bother him.

I walked towards my next lesson; it was history. It was strangely that I didn't feel sleepy at all; maybe I'll stay awake this lesson.

I sat down in my seat and looked up at the whiteboard. We were doing the history of exorsists... great.

The lesson dragged on for what felt like a million years. I looked up at the clock... it had been 15 minutes. I felt my eyes start to close, and no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't keep them open

Shit.
