Tw// Anxiety- breif mention of SA
(Just so everyone knows because a-lot of people seemed to assume the worst from this- the tw is only for the mention of the word "assaulted" used in that context, there is no actual SA in this story.)

Chongyun POV:

After we finished our food we went up to bed as we were both tired after such an... eventful... day,

We lay in bed and I was happily watching Xingqiu read his book, and suddenly he looked up at me, he noticed I had been watching him and closed the book, placing it on his bedside table,

"Whatcha looking at yun yun?" He asked, laying his head on a pillow, now level with me,

"Oh... nothing, just watching you read." I responded sleepily, I then realised how creepy that sounded and quickly sat up trying to redeem myself,

"W-wait that sounded creepy I didn't mean it like that I just-" I was cut off by Xingqiu grabbing my shoulder and making me lay down,

"You're so silly sometimes yun, do you honestly think I didn't realise you were watching me? And I don't find it creepy at all by the way!" He huffed jokingly,

"Sorry.." I laughed nervously,

"No need to apoligise my liege!"

I felt my cheeks get hot, what the hell?! This happened every time he called me that, I wasn't sure why it just seemed nice... him calling me his liege... but I knew he didn't mean it like that!

"What are you blushing for?" He asked innocently, he didn't even know what he was doing which seemed to make everything worse!

"I don't know its just.. hot in here I guess.." I excused,

"Hmmm..." he placed a hand on my forehead, "You're right, you are quite hot... let me open a window!"

He then got up and opened the window a little, he seemed to hesitate and didn't show any signs of moving away from the window, I knew why, he liked the view,

I was also enjoying a different view...

The look on his face as he admired the ocean and streets below was like something out of heaven, and the way the moon illuminated his eyes and hair...

I snapped myself out of whatever the fuck that was and got up to join him,

"What are you looking at?" I asked, He seemed to jump a little at the sudden sound but played it off by giggling and sitting in the window seat,

"The view of course, it's so beautiful and I guess I havent taken the time to really admire it lately... I've been busy... admiring... other things..." he trailed off at the end, blushing a little,

"What's the other things?" I questioned as I sat down with him,

"....you're the other things.." he whispered,

"I-" I was very caught off guard by that and by the seven I was lucky there was a cold breeze blowing in my face because otherwise I would've overheated then and there!

"I guess there isn't much shame in saying it after earlier... under the mistletoe."

"Y- yeah-"

"Are you ok yun yun?"

"Hm? Me? Yeah I'm great!" I was now overheating despite the cold air and I felt everything start to go fuzzy,

For fucks sake! Not now...

I watched as Chongyun collapsed in the windowsill, I wasn't sure what had happened but he looked very red and he was hot to touch,
