Chongyun POV:

After a long day at school me and Xingqiu walked back to my place, I went to get a popsicle since I was feeling overheated after a stressful last lesson and Xingqiu went up to my room,

After I finished the popsicle I went to see if shenhe was home, she wasn't, she had left me a note saying she was going to be late home tonight,

I went up to my room and Xingqiu was sitting on my bed kicking his feet whilst reading,

He was really cute..

"Have you cooled off now?" He asked, closing his book,

"Yeah, my auntie is going to be home late tonight by the way so I'll cook for us!" I smiled in response,

"Ok!" Xingqiu stood up and put the book back on the bookshelf,

"Have you finished the book?" I asked,

"Yeah!" He replied,

We then went about our evening as usal, talking about something or other, laughing at stupid shit and all that, and then I went to cook, we ate our food, Xingqiu helped me clean up and then we went up to bed,

As we were laying in bed Xingqiu spoke up,

"Yun yun..." he began, "I've been meaning to ask you something.."

"Well ask away." I smiled, turning to face him,

"What... Well... what are we?" He asked,

My chest seemed to squeeze at that question, he hadn't been the only one asking it, I mean we kissed and we said we love eachother but... what are we?

"I-... Well I dont really know.." I responded,

"Let me re word that question." He said before taking a deep breath and sitting up,

"What do you want us to be?" He finished,

I frowned.

How was I supposed to answer that, I want to be... Well... I don't know... I want...

"I want to be your boyfriend." He spoke again, interrupting my thoughts,

"Y-you... you want what-?" I stuttered, instantly starting to overheat,

"You heard what I said. Don't make me say it again." His voice sounded shaky but also emotionless, like he was trying to hide how scared he was,

He hadn't looked at me once, he had just looked out of the window the whole time,

"Are you sure?" I whispered,

"Yes."

I put a hand on his shoulder and felt his shaking, he turned to look at me and he had tears in his eyes,

"You said... you said you love me too so... do you want... to be my boyfriend..?" He muttered shakily,

"I... I do want that but..."

"But what?!" He half yelled, a tear escaping his eye,

"But I don't want to hurt you... I mean what if something goes wrong and- and I accidentally hurt you?!" I responded,

"Then we get through it! Just please tell me if your going to date me or not!" He demanded, wiping his eyes,

"Ok... let's... let's date then.." I spoke weakly, in all honesty I was happy but I was still scared of hurting him,

He smiled.

All the fear I felt left my body when I saw him smile, his smiles sent butterflies to my stomach, he was so beautiful...

"So.. are we dating now..?" I asked,

"Yes!" He laughed before tackling me into a kiss,

We stayed like that for a while, this kiss seemed so much more... meaningful then all of the others... it was like a confirmation that we were together, a conformation that we were dating, it brought a sense of security into the room..

We were happy.

Xingqiu POV:

I did it! We did it! We were finally dating,

Although it was terrifying how slow he responded, here we were now, kissing as boyfriends, foe a moment I felt nothing but pure happiness, he really was the light of my life,

The kiss ended and we lay there in a comfortable silence,

I was playing with Yun yuns hair when he sighed,

"You know... you really are beautiful... and I have thought this ever since we met... it feels good to tell you.." he whispered,

I felt my cheeks get hot, he really just said all that like it was nothing-?

My heart was beating really fast and then to make matters worse he did his perfect laugh and put his hand on my face,

"You're absolutely stunning.." he spoke again,

"Y-Yun Yun... stop... you're making me all flustered..." I laughed, trying to hide my blush,

"Maybe it's good for you to get a turn, now you know how I feel!" He seemed pleased with himself as he watched me blush even more,

"I love you Yun Yun.." I whispered,

He hesitated for a second before whispering back,

"I love you too.."
