The room was still brightly lit at 2 in the morning, and Xia Yao sat upright at the desk. Her bangs were messily picked up by a hairpin and revealed her smooth forehead as she worked hard on her exercises, a pencil in her hand.
In her eyes, these assignments she used to read but could never understand finally appeared like they were all interconnected. It seemed as if she just had opened a bug, where all the difficult points she had tried so hard to memorize in the past finally floated like a series of beautiful notes in her mind. Her brain had never been so clear and her eyes had never been so bright, and when she finished reviewing the last chapter of the first year of high school, she turned off the lights and went to bed. Studying was sure enjoyable!

The morning breeze was blowing and the sun chased the shadow of the night. The warm golden light hit the girl's face at her desk, illuminating her hard-working figure that was looking upward every day.
As usual, Xia Yao got up at 6 am to read. But unlike before, she could now understand the content of the book.
[Good morning, host!]
It was rare for the system to not directly issue a task right off the bat and greet her. But as Xia Yao was focused on solving equations, she did not pay attention to it.
[Please show up at the entrance before 7:02 am and be sure to complete the plot of "The sweetheart of the three big bosses".]
Xia Yao ignored it and kept writing formulas. Just a little more, one step left!
[Host, it is 7:00 right now and there are 2 minutes left to complete the plot before your self-awareness immediately gets obliterated and your original character's setting gets restored.]
Xia Yao tossed the pen in her hand, ran to the door and the sound of footsteps echoed in the villa.

She could guess today's plot. According to the novel, when the supporting female character Xia Yao had seen Ji Huai yesterday and recognized him as the boy of the afternoon, she had fallen in love at first sight. Because of that, she had no longer secretly hidden in her room to study every morning but had started appearing in the living room at 7 am every day, planning to go to school with him. Unfortunately, because of her brain-disabled behavior, she had quickly disgusted Ji Huai and the heroine had taken advantage of the situation to be the one to accompany him.

That was right, Xia Yao used to study every day until she was late for school. The original Xia Yao had wanted to surpass the predestined heroine through learning and had tried her hardest to brush up questions. Everybody had mistaken her for sleeping in and she had unfortunately been unable to understand anything because of her forced lowered intellect.

As soon as Xia Yao got off the stairs, she saw Xia Xi and Ji Huai sitting in the living room, having breakfast together. Xia Yuan was not there and she guessed something must have happened at his university.
When Xia Xi noticed Xia Yao, she was taken aback and said in a surprised tone: "Sister, you got up so early today."
Xia Yao nodded, not intending to talk to the heroine. She had her own plans; she just needed to go through a cut scene to brush up her sense of existence, but it was still better to talk less and be barely visible. But the truth was, she was still focusing on her math problems.
"Brother Ji Huai, my sister usually sleeps in. It must be because of you she got up earlier today." Xia Xi smiled at Ji Huai.
She glanced at Xia Yao again, unable to look straight at her bed hair and unwashed face; she had woken up two hours earlier today just to draw her makeup and to spray sweet perfume to impress Ji Huai.
Ji Huai, who was holding bread in his hand, also looked at the girl who still hadn't combed her hair. He felt somewhat stunned when he heard Xia Xi's words.
So it turned out to be like that.
"No, I'm on duty today so I got up early." Xia Yao glanced at Xia Xi and reached for the food on the table.
Xia Xi hadn't expected her sister to directly slap her in the face but when she watched her take some bread, she thought of something and asked with some concern: "Sister, since you're already up, did you brush your teeth?"
It was already a miracle she would wake up before it was too late, how could she have time to brush her teeth?
Xia Yao looked at her briefly and despite putting the bread in her mouth, her words were very clear: "None of your business."
Realizing that Xia Yao didn't seem to care about her appearance, Xia Xi turned her head toward the boy: "Brother Ji Huai, my sister is not usually like this. We usually get along very well but she woke up so early for the first time today!"
Ah, how could she really go on duty, she was most likely going to bully people again!
"Oh." Ji Huai replied. He didn't like this talkative girl very much and had already understood her implication.
Perhaps because his voice was too cold, Xia Xi's enthusiasm dampened and she didn't say much anymore; she still tried to small talk a little but it was mostly one way and the boy barely answered.
