Now back to story

Shaurya was about to open the gate of his room when his eyes fell on the light coming from the adjacent room.

"Yeh lights kyu onn hai guest room ki." And he stepped inside the guest room

When shaurya's hand reached the switchboard, he noticed a sleeping form. Confused he took small steps towards the bed, not before switching off the lights and clutching to the vase for protection.

He snatched away the blanket, the cover got off the face and Anokhi's eyes clicked open in fear. Sensing the darkness and someone's presence, she was about to scream when a hand covered her mouth. Her gaze travelled to the shiny vase which was swinging in the air as if the person was about to hit her with that. Anokhi closed her eyes tightly, assuming that her family had traced her and now her life was over.

When Shaurya uncovered the face, the light coming from the window gave him the view of a girl whose eyes were lined with fear. He quickly deciphered that she was about to scream and so he covered her mouth to suppress it. Shaurya observed her terrified face and when her eyes drifted to the vase, he hastily placed it on the side table, sensing that it was of no use.

Anokhi heard the clattering sound and noticed the vase being placed on the table. Confused, she shifted her eyes to the person's face and the slight visibility convinced her that it was not someone from her family.

Shaurya's one leg was on the edge of the bed, near Anokhi's waist while his upper body was leaning on her. His right hand which was clutching on to the vase a minute ago was now on the headboard for support.

Whereas anokhi's shivering hands were tightly clutching the blanket, her mind blank for giving any reaction. The hair strands slightly covered her face and the long tresses were scattered away on the cushion.

As soon as her terror-stricken eyes met shaurya's perplexed stare, he asked in a threatening tone "tum kon ho or mere ghar mei kya kar rahi ho?"

Not getting any response, shaurya asked again "bolo varna.." he trailed off when he noticed that she was signalling something with her eyes.

He followed the direction and realised that his hand was still clasping her mouth. Slightly embarrassed, shaurya lifted off the hand, and Anokhi's hand involuntarily pushed him away making him stumble backwards. Sitting on the bed, she tried to cover her upper body with the blanket.

"tum.. Tum kon ho?" Anokhi stammered.

Shaurya looked at her annoyed, " yeh sahi hai. Mera sawal mujse hi? " and he started to stride towards her.

"dekho.. Mere... Mere paas matt aao.."

She tried to turn onn the bedside lamp, but the switch repeatedly slipped from her trembling hands. Some old memories made their way and anokhi's face started to turn pale.

Shaurya noticed all this and stopped in his tracks. Taking some steps back he assured, " acha okay relax. Mai nahi aa rha tumhare paas"

But anokhi's mind was too exhausted to process what he was saying. The terrifying flashbacks haunting her to the core.

"please jao yahan se.. Please.."she started crying, covering herself more. Her voice equal to a pleading
